we'd return because of the superb location and the comfort

Pros: this exceptional ocean view ... WOW super quiet location, spacious and comfortable rooms, lovely sunny pool area - there're several reasons to return

Cons: well, the water in our bathrooms and kitchen never got warm. it took very long to come out lukewarm. it would be acceptable if there's 30C outside but on windy 16C days lukewarm is definetely not enough. this is a system failure and a pointless wasting of fresh water. the kitchen equipment was rudimentary

A real gem on the Western tip of the Algarve.

Pros: Staff professional and courteous Menu varied but skilfully executed Seaview balcony rooms a must. A real pleasure to stay here after 2 weeks touring around. Should be the yardstick by which all Portuguese hotels should be measured. Strong recommendation from me.

Superb

Pros: Spacious and well equipped room. A receptionist was very welcoming and escorted us to our room, explaining the facilities of the hotel. Later a bowl of fruit was delivered with a handwritten note - a lovely welcoming touch. Top notch hotel.

It was lovely, but overpriced.

Pros: Changed to a much better room. The first was too small!

Cons: They ran out of breakfast items on the bar, that were important to me.

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. Really pleasant room and spacious. Breakfast was good.

Cons: Our luggage was not given to our luggage transport service despite us specifically telling hotel staff at checkout which company was collecting it and the clear labels that were on the bags. This caused unnecessary delay and stress. The hotel did track it down and have it transported to us but that was after phone calls we had to make.
