Pros: Duarte made my wife, my two children and I feel very welcome! From the day we checked in to the day we departed. He insisted on helping with luggage, provided bananas and fresh eggs. The villa, the views and the standard of the accommodation are far superior to most hotels. I have been to the US a few times and much prefer to stay in a villa there due to the flexibility that it provides. However, I have never found something that competes in Europe..until now!

Cons: That I have only recently located Duarte, his villa and the beautiful island of Madeira. There is a steep walk down to the villa (for me this was great as it makes it more private), but could pose a small challenge for elderly relatives. There wasn't anything we didn't like and we will definitely be back..maybe as soon as next year thanks to Duarte, his amazing villa and the unspoilt paradise that is Madeira!

The most beautiful place with the kindest host to stay on Madeira! 😎

Pros: Our flight was delayed because we couldn't land at Madeira first. So we arrived at the house with a 5-6 hours delay in the middle of the night. The host was still awake, waiting for us with a huge smile on his face. He took our 2 very heavy packages up and walked with those down to the house to help us. The house is 5 minutes walk from where you can park your car. In the house, there were a lot of fresh bananas and eggs waiting for us. He is the kindest person on the planet! And the view from the house is indescribably beautiful! It's hard to explain this place in words, you need to experience it.

Lovely stay

Pros: Amazing views and comfortable once you arrived, the host was amazing helped with luggage and fresh egg and fruit ready ! Lovely place to relax and unwind

Cons: The only negative about the property was the walk to get to the house it’s not a long walk but a down hill and uphill one and if you have any difficulties walking then that’s a problem and it should be mentioned on the site

Pros: Lovely host and great place to stay. Perfect location: quiet, peaceful and beautiful view of the ocean. I recommend to everyone - Our rating is 10/10.

Pros: Amazing view, complete privacy, very nice house with everything we needed for our stay.

Cons: The double bed is quite small for two people.

Pros: The attentive host but never intrusive, the little attention like the fresh fruits and eggs when needed. And always here to help! the sunset from the swimming pool was just amazing, and we could enjoy the breakfast in the morning from the terrace. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back to Madeira :)

Cons: nothing, it was perfect!

Pros: Duarte was a great host. He waited for our arrival, helped carrying our luggage. He brought us fresh eggs and bananas every morning. The location and accomodation itself was the prettiest I've ever been to. We would love to return if possible.

Very nice place to stay as a group

Pros: The host met us by the house. Helped us with our luggage while showing the way to the property. Showed us around the rooms and gave us a couple of recommendations for area attractions. Very nice experience overall

Pros: Certainly a great place to stay. Quite location, lovely sunsets, very relaxing place to stay.

Cons: Only drawback was having to walk down to villa , and back up again, for an elderly or infirm person this could be challenging.
