Wonderful stay in a great flat with a warm and lovely host in an excellent location.
Pros: Very easy communication with the host. She arrived promptly to hand us the keys and give us a warm welcome to Madeira!

Pros: Central location, very clear, comfortable, everything pretty new and fully functional. Jenny is an amazing host, with the perfect mix of being available, yet giving you space
Cons: The noise on the street. One of Funchal's best bar is just next door. They serve tastefull poncha's, but if you are sensitive to noise, think twice. This is why I gave it a 9, otherwise it was a clear 10

Pros: When we arrived in Madeira, Jenny met us at the accommodation and was such a warm and great welcome there. We also arrived to an assortment of treats, fruit and a big bottle of Brisa (passion fruit flavoured cool-drink made in Madeira). The location of the apartment in central Funchal made exploring the city incredibly easy. There really is so much to see, do and of course eat & drink while visiting Madeira
Cons: As many other reviewers have noted, the only small downside is the next door Poncha bar. It can get quite noisey especially in the evenings. Thankfully the windows and aircon in the apartment helped reduce the noise.

Pros: wonderful central location, close to everything and bars/restaurants. Really clean apartment, with everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Jenny was the most lovely and thoughtful host, and went out of her way to help us with restaurant recommendations and travel plans when asked. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: There was some noise from the bars nearby, but didn't bother us, but something to consider if you want complete silence.

Pros: Spotless, modern, comfy beds and pillows (plentiful). Great showers 2 bathrooms. Very good kitchen. Host was super friendly and helpful. Water, fresh bread, fruit, juice left out. Lots of tea and coffee. Very generous host.
Cons: Nothing for us. Some people might find location a little noisy. It's just a bar where people gather to experience the local tipple . Closes 12.30 sharp!

Lovely flat in a great location. Highly recommended.
Pros: The flat was spacious, bright and airy, well equipped and comfortable. It was centrally located, near lots of restaurants (the one immediately next door was very good) and just a few minutes walk to a car park. Jenny could not have been more welcoming or helpful.
Cons: The flat is adjacent to a very popular bar which remains open well after midnight. We made the mistake of leaving the windows open on the first night, not realising it would get noisier as the evening progressed. After that we kept the windows closed and slept really well.

Pros: Jenny is a great and attentive host. We were traveling with our 10 month old daughter and she went above and beyond to make it a comfortable stay for us. Location is very central and we enjoyed having everything nearby - including the great poncha downstairs 😁👍

Amazing hosts, amazing flat, great experience!
Pros: The host are amazing! Very nice, generous and sympathetic couple! The apartment is in the very center of Funchal, close to the ocean and everything you might need. The apartment was tidy, clean and equipped with everything you might need. There is a huge space in the living room/kitchen, the apartment has a lot of light and the kitchen is loaded with supplies like oil, coffee, spices, etc. Our hosts gave us a very generous welcome pack with candies, food for breakfast, wine...
Cons: The apartment is very close to the famous poncha bar, and it can be a bit noisy, but we didn't mind much. After all, you are in the center of Funchal. Apart from that, everything was perfect, we had no complaints.
