Vila Aguarelas with pool by Stay Madeira Island

Pros: Our family(two adults and baby) spent almost two weeks in this beautiful private villa with direct views on Atlantic ocean and banana trees. Calm and relaxing. The host was really kind and helpful, ready to assist in every request and gave recommendations concerning everything on Madeira 24/7. Villa was well equipped with everything we needed, clean and bright. Every bedroom is with panoramic windows/doors and has access to gardens. Kitchen inside and opened grill area outside. The garage is big enough. In November-December infinity pool pre-heating was useful solution(upon request). Welcome vine, cheeses and compliment for baby. About 7min driving to Cahleta marina, 35 min to Funchal, Porta Moniz is about 45-50 min. Wonderful stay on Madeira.

Great Madeira Stay

Pros: A beautiful clean, modern property with every amenity required for a comfortable, relaxed family holiday. The villa is set in a quiet residential area in the hills, with amazing ocean views, best experienced from the infinity pool. Rita from Stay Madeira manages the property very well. She is very friendly and helpful and always available. A car is important, but the roads are fine and it's just a few minutes drive down to the marina and beach, where there are a good selection of restaurants and bars. There is a good sized supermarket down there too. Loved it.

Madeira is a beautiful island with so much to see and do.

Pros: Villa is completed to an exceptional finish. Rita who manages the Villa is extremely friendly, always available for contact and great for information.

Cons: The Villa is in a residential area a way up the hills from the shops and harbour restaurants, walking was not an option for us, so someone always had to drive. There is also building going on over the road from the villa, which was somewhat noisy and annoying especially when they start so early in the morning.

Wonderful and we want to return.

Pros: This is a beautiful property in a fantastic location. The infinity pool was stunning with exceptional views over the sea. The villa is in a quiet location barely overlooked and secure. There is an outside shower which is handy when you are in and out of the pool and the BBQ was well equipped even though we didn’t use it. This is an open plan property with lots of glass so you can fully appreciate the views. You can drive to the Marina within 8 minutes where there is a beach and a good selection of restaurants. The management company were exceptional and very helpful both before and during the stay. The kitchen was well equipped and anything that we needed, that was missing, was provided by Rita after a phone call. It really was an amazing service. I really liked the fact that they left the basics available such as dishwasher tablets, washing machine gels and coffee pods. There was a welcome pack and some fabulous local cheese. This was really appreciated after a long day of travel.

Cons: That you have to pay extra for the heating in the pool but I understand why that is an extra due to it not being needed most of the year. It does take a while to get up to temperature so despite the heating going on a day before our arrival, it didn’t reach maximum temperature until day 3 of our stay. This is truly a minor issue since once you got in and swimming you soon warmed up.

So enjoyed this exceptional home with spectacular views of the sea and highly recommend it!

Pros: The location was excellent! The views of the ocean and cliffs were spectacular! Rita was like our personal concierge — telling us what time Masses were at the local churches, where to stock up on Nespresso coffee pods, and where to dine for dinner. She had a lovely personality and greeted us upon our arrival and sent us off at the end of our six-day stay on the island of Madeira.

Cons: Not a thing!

Ein phantastisches Erlebnis, das wir nicht vergessen werden.

Pros: Das Haus - nein, die Villa - war spektakulär! Die Lage, die unglaubliche Aussicht und die beeindruckende großzügige Architektur ist einmalig. Aber auch Rita, die sich um alle Belange oder Fragen jederzeit gekümmert hat, war großartig. Wir gratulieren jedem, der hier seinen Urlaub verbringen darf.….und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

De parel van Calheta!

Pros: Een parel in Calheta! Prachtig, compleet huis met alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie living met keukens en heerlijke bedden met fantastisch uitzicht. En de infinity pool zo mooi en rustgevend. Deze locatie is echt een aanrader!

Unglaublich schöne Unterkunft. Purer Luxus, fantastische Aussicht und toller Pool.

Pros: Das Haus ist wirklich unglaublich schön. Sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Hochwertige und reichhaltige Ausstattung. Sehr schöner Garten, der nachts beleuchtet ist. Der Pool ist groß und tief und beheizbar (Wir haben es aber nicht gebraucht.) Man von allen Zimmern des Hauses eine fantastische Sicht. Vor allem vom Hauptschlafzimmer und vom Wohnzimmer aus. Überall sehr große Fenster, und dadurch lichtdurchflutet. Gut erreichbar mit Auto und großer Garage unterm Haus. Wir haben jede Minute im Haus genossen. Und die Ferienhausverwalterin war super nett, immer hilfsbereit und hat uns persönlich im Haus empfangen und verabschiedet. Vielen Dank! Alles in allem ein Traum!

Cons: Wir hatten wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

Superbe villa gérée par une équipe formidable !

Pros: La maison est magnifique, confortable, très bien meublée et très bien agencée. La vue est exceptionnelle et l'endroit est très calme. Rita est une hôte formidable, très gentille, à l'écoute et disponible au moindre souci ou si besoin d'un conseil. Je recommande à 100%.

Cons: 2 points mais qui relèvent plus du détail et ne gâchent absolument rien au plaisir des vacances dans cette villa : * un peu juste en vaisselle notamment en verres ordinaires pour une famille de 5 personnes. Les couverts sont de qualité très moyenne au regard du reste des prestations qu'offre la maison (par exemple les manches en plastique des couverts se déboîtent) * il est difficile de sortir du garage avec une voiture familiale (beaucoup de manœuvres nécessaires)
