Pros: A beautiful garden with a sea view. The house is big and comfortable with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet. The decoration of the house is unique, it looks as an old-fashioned villa.

Cons: Grill was dirty and there was no equipment to clean it, so we cannot use it. There was no soap for shower and no dishwashing machine tablets, we had to buy this things ourselves.

Love it. I would definitely recommend the place!

Pros: Location was awesome, staff was friendly, view was amazing, kitchen was lovely and villa itself was so beautiful.

Cons: Shower temperature was not consistent and almost uncontrollable.

Excellent base for exploring Madeira

Pros: Localization is excellent, great ocean view from bedroom and terrace, few small shops nearby (200-300 meters) so no problem to buy something in emergency if needed. Few restaurants around. Easy access to fast route (kind of highway) to airport/Funchal and other interesting places on Madeira. The house itself has all needed equipment, like washer, dishwasher, microwave etc. And ther is a cute kitty comming every morning for a snack and gets;)

Cons: Jacuzzi was not working

Pros: Der Gastgeber war sehr pro-aktive und hat uns rechtzeitig und sehr ausfuehrlich informiert

Cons: Das Haus ist an einer tolen Lag eund mit viel Liebe gebaut und eingerichtte worden ... aber man merkt im das Alter langsam an (Kleinigkeiten die kaputt sind oder nicht ganz sauber funktieren). Hat aber den Gesamteindruck nicht getruebt.

Beautiful sea view in an old villa with a lot of space for a whole family

Pros: This house is located above the sea, close to a very nice beach (one of the most beautiful rocky beaches on Madeira). It has a very nice small garden with a beautiful view. The house is big and comfortable with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet. It is a privately owned, old-fashioned villa with a lot of decoration inside. It offers a lot of space. There is a television and internet wi-fi available. The internet is a bit outdated and only works on the first floor but it was ok for our purpose. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Supermarkets and restaurants are close (a big supermarket 5 minutes by car, restaurants in walking distances). The owner of the house (an old lady in her 80ies) is living in the basement. The interaction takes place with somebody external that takes care of all details. This worked very well and it is possible to reach her by WhatsApp all the time.

Cons: There was not much available when we arrived so we had to buy everything ourselves (cleaning agent, trash sacks, toilet paper). The owner of the house (an old lady in her 80ies) is living in the basement. She was taking care of the garden with a gardener one day and every day she is watering the plants around the house. Unfortunately she does not speak English but we came along well. There is a very loud dog from the neighbor that barks quite often also during the night. This is a bit disturbing. Unfortunately also our contact was not able to get this under control but she really tried it.

Pros: Dům jako takový je krásný, s úžasnou terasou s výhledem na oceán, který neomrzí. Dekorace domu nebyl naš šálek kávy, ale nevadí to, má to svůj styl. Velmi dobrá lokalita s dobrou dostupností na rychlostní silnici, obchůdky a restaurace v okolí.

Cons: Co považuji za největší problém a potenciální nebezpečí, tak je starý plynový kotel. Jakmile se spustí, tak je v celém přízemí cítit plyn. Po upozornění hostitelka zajistila kontrolu plynařem, utěsnili jeden ventil, ale sami říkali, že už je to staré. Plyn byl po celou dobu cítit i tak. Necítili jsme se díky tomu v pohodě a v bezpečí. Některé vybavení domu nefunkční pro své stáří nebo bylo zničené. Jde vidět, že se není moc zájem o obnovu. Odpadávají některé kliky u dveří, zničená spousta nádobí v kuchyni, nefungují některé plotýnky na sporáku, některé nefunkční židle, sušák na prádlo rozpadlý atd. Také bylo dobré do inzerátu napsat, že v domě hosté nebydlí sami - v přízemí domu bydlí starší paní majitelka.
