Vila Castro

Pros: We had a superb stay at Vila Castro. We used pool almost every day, House was spacious with everything we needed. Great homebase for our trips on the island

Pros: A beautiful home with everything a family could need both inside and outside. Spacious, comfortable and modern, and a space to park. Patricia and Paulo are helpful and friendly and gave lots of recommendations for restaurants and shops locally and across the island.

Cons: Yes, the road up to the property is a challenge but not impossible and if you are going to explore Madeira by car you will have to manage many hills.

Pros: The villa was superb, I could not fault anything and the host Patricia was so helpful with everything that I asked of her. I would highly recommend this property. Not only were the facilities like new, the extras were so thoughtful.

Pros: I had a fantastic stay at Vila Castro! The accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. What truly made my experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. From local recommendations to quick responses to my questions, their hospitality was outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Pros: Great pool, big rooms, lovely equipped, very silent and private area, airconditioning and safe parking space, wlan works great, modern tv!

A new beautifull place in an amazing location.

Pros: Fantastic place, new and very comfortable! The top feature of this place is its hosts, done by the owner of the place, a personal touch and not a big company. The BOOKING.COM made an error, and the host, Patricia solved everything, and was allways present and available to make us feel at home. A real friendly and happy to make our stay the best possible, not just a business. i would advise everyone to make a search on google for this place and find the direct contact, to get more info if needed!

Cons: everything is fantastic, no downsides at all! parking is easy, and the road to get there even more!

Lovely hosts, lovely property, highly recommended!!

Pros: The house had everything you could need for a fantastic holiday. It really felt like home and was in a great central location for attractions/amenities. Parking was very good and the pool was great for a quick dip after a busy day. The hosts were lovely people, very communicative and wanted to make sure we were having a great time.

Pros: Beautiful place with 3 rooms with comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom for group of 6 adults. Great that we could barbecue and take a dip in the lovely pool. Very well received by Patricia. Easily accessible and quick to give tips. Ideal place to visit western Madeira.

Cons: Challenging steep road to get there, though. But that is peculiar to Madeira. It is not possible to start a walk from the vila, everything is best done by car.

Perfect home....can thoroughly recommend.

Pros: Exceptionally clean indoors and out! The pool area is beautiful and private. You are quite close to a number of other properties but the screening is excellent. You have a local supermarket about 200m from the house and Calheta marina with its many restautants and a pingo doce is only a 5 min drive from the property too. We were really lucky with the weather and made the most of all the lovely outdoor furniture. There is a parking spot which belongs to the property.

Cons: Nothing!

Top Haus

Pros: Sehr neues, schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus. Seit neuestem ist der Pool beheizt, so dass man ihn auch im Dezember wunderbar nutzen kann. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümer, die auch immer erreichbar waren. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Cons: Nichts.
