This is the perfect place to stay in Madeira. It’s a short walk to the beach or the market. We loved it.

Pros: The house is beautiful and comfortable. We were three adults and had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen and bathroom were spacious, and the bedrooms were all large. The front porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Cons: There is no parking at the house, so coming and going is a little challenging at first, until you figure it out. We parked our rental car at Amazonia, a couple of blocks away at €5 per day, which worked out great.

Cons: Das Portal zum Grundstück liegt an einer relativ stark befahrenen Straße ohne Bürgersteig o.ä.. Gepäck aus- und einladen war etwas beschwerlich. Straßenverkehr etwas laut.

Eine Woche in einem tollen Haus mit Sonnenuntergangsblick aus der Hängematte

Pros: Ein wunderschöne eingerichtetes Haus mit einer tollen Terrasse und Ausblick auf den Hafen. Das Haus liegt an einer tagsüber ganz gut befahrenen Straße, allerdings erhöht, sodass man ungesehen auf der Veranda sitzen kann. Gute Matratzen, toll ausgestattete Küche. Nachts ist kein Verkehr, man kann problemlos bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Man ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt bzw. an der Markthalle.

Cons: Wenn man mit dem eigenen Auto kommt ist die Parkplatzsuche nicht immer einfach. Direkt am oder vor dem Haus gibt es keine Parkmöglichkeiten.
