Pros: It was very clean & spacious, everything you could need was provided, the welcome bottle of wine/fruit/local biscuits was a nice little touch & appreciated 😋

Cons: Honestly, I can’t think of anything & there is usually at least one issue on our trips away, so thumbs up to this accommodation 👍

Perfect!

Pros: Super property! So clean, practical and stylish. In a good location 10 minute walk from busy streets where the cable car starts and loads of food options.

Cons: Nothing everything was perfect! Quite a steep hill up to the property which should be considered

Pros: The property provided everything that a family of 5 would need. The facilities were excellent. All basics were provided eg. Laundry tablets, Dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, plenty of towels etc and we only needed to ask if we wanted more of anything. A fantastic welcome basket was greatly appreciated as we arrived late at night and included all the essentials for a breakfast the following morning. The comfortable seating around the swimming pool was a bonus and in a beautiful setting. The property was 10 minutes walk from the centre of Funchal or 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. There was also a bus stop outside the property.

Perfect

Pros: We were a group of six friends staying at this villa in Funchal for a week, and overall, we had a great experience. The villa is beautifully furnished, spacious, and offers a lovely view over the city and ocean — perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or relax by the pool. The pool itself was a highlight — clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax after exploring the island. The location is fairly central, just a 10–15 minute walk to downtown However, be prepared for the uphill walk back — Funchal is full of hills! Overall, a great base for exploring Madeira with friends — just be ready for a bit of a workout on the hills!

Cons: A couple of things to note: the villa isn’t cleaned during the stay, but when we requested fresh towels, more toilet paper, and extra coffee, the hosts were quick to respond and delivered everything the same day. Excellent service on that front! The only real challenge was finding the villa initially. Google Maps struggled a bit with the exact location, so if you’re renting a car (which we recommend), be prepared for a little extra patience when arriving.

Stunning home from home

Pros: Very generous management team who allowed an early check in and late check out. Went above and beyond... unexpected groceries upon arrival. Forwarded a list of restaurant recommendations etc.

Cons: Only observation was the plastic coat hangers stood out against all the other high quality furnishings and decor.

Pros: The house was fantastic, lots of space for everyone, 3 big bedrooms, a kitchen that had everything you could need and a lovely pool to sit at if you want to chill

Cons: Honestly it was all great. If you struggle walking up hills, the walk back up from Funchal could be tough but it's not too long and if you take your time.youll be fine.

Pros: Very stylish jet cozy interior, clean, owner was super helpful and kind, free parking in garage, pool, all the details and equipment in kitchen and in rooms. Perfect stay!

Cons: You need a full length mirror for getting ready to go out in the evenings. A minor detail but nice to have. No doubt the hosts will sort as they were brilliant.

Pros: Brand new feeling. Stylish, functional,clean, well appointed.

Cons: Due to the hills there is not much that is walkable. However, the enclosed private garage was attached to the unit so no parking hassles.
