Amazing Old Town - Apartments by SBH

Excellent experience, highly recommended!:)

Pros: I appreciate that the property has everything necessary — a washing machine, hair dryer, dishes, air conditioning, internet, and a lovely terrace with a view of the city. Perfect location — close to the beach, shops, beautiful old town streets, and just a minute to the cable car.

Pros: The breakfast at Se Boutique Hotel was very good and definitely influenced my rating. The apartment is exactly as pictured, very bright. The linens are new and fresh, the bed is very comfortable. We vacationed in July, it was hot and having air conditioning was a great advantage. Would definitely come back again to this apartment.

Cons: The air conditioner was running a little weak, it probably needs to be cleaned. It would be good to add hooks in the bathroom and a shelf in the shower to put shampoo and conditioner.

Pros: Great location in the old town. Loved the terrace, appartement had washing machine. Parking garage is just a few steps away. Breakfast at the hotel was awesome.

Pros: The appartment is located near coast, next to the old city and interesting street. Breakfast at the near located hotel.

Cons: The bed is uncomfortable... But it depends on personal taste :)

Pros: The location was superb, very central but incredibly quiet as it had 2 layers of double glazed windows!

Cons: Nothing, it suited our needs perfectly

Nice studio, perfect location, great host

Pros: This nice studio is located in the old city, near the cable car station and the main bus station. It is clean and well-equipped. The complimentary breakfast served at Sé Boutique Hotel, located 10 minutes away, was a great boost for everyday. Andre is a great host. Except for the complimentary wine, he offered us a lot of advice for visiting the island.

Pros: Super nice appartment, newly renovated on 2 floors with big terrace. The location is amazing in old part of the city center, 2 min away from cablecar, and 5 min walking distance from parking that is secured and cheap. Super friendly stuff and everything was really nice. It fullfilled all our expectations. We will deffinately come back again!

Pros: -good location in old town -good size apartment and balcony -free breakfast in hotel 700m away

Cons: Small nitpicks: - no place to store and hang your clothes(only wardrobe is filled with sheets and pillows) -not enough place to hang your towels -sugar and shampoo was missing but managed to sort it at the hotel while being at the breakfast

Pros: We had great time in Madeira staying at Andre’s place. Host was very hospitable and responsive. We were allowed to checkin earlier and checkout later which let us avoid going in the city with our luggages. We were also offered a breakfast which was nice and convenient. 100% recommend
