Great location. Charming owner. Wonderfull housekeeper.

Pros: Vety warm.welcome, accommodation with everything you need, lovely to have a selection of food and drinks waiting, including lots of fresh fruit., lots of personal touches that made our stay very special. Wonderful view of Funchal and the harbour from the private terrace,, good location close to the old town, 10 minute walk to some very good restaurants and bars,. Easy free street car parking.

Cons: The mosquitoes, nothing the owner could do about them but they were annoying. Pack repellent is my tip!

A friendly stay with amazing views.

Pros: We felt very welcome on arrival and throughout the stay. The property and gardens were immaculate. Everything we needed was available...and more! It was a good uphill walk from Funchal but manageable for most fit people. We would stay again.

Cons: The noise of the digger on the neighbouring property, but this is not the owner's fault. It just meant we had to go out all the time and not enjoy the garden.

Can’t recommend this place enough

Pros: This is an absolutely amazing place with wonderful host and staff. So kind and thoughtful and always there if you need anything.

Pros: Villa is beautiful. Well maintained garden and pool. Good location and view is awesome. We was travelling with children and there was everything we could imagine, includung baby bath, mat and feeding chair, even blender. Parking was not an issue, there was enouhg parking spots on street. Hosts hospitality was incredible. We felt like home. Definetely recomended

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit atemberaubendem Blick

Pros: Top Lage in Funchal mit Blick auf den Hafen und in Richtung Altstadt. Barreirinha Café zu Fuß in 7 Minuten erreichbar - top für Sundowner.

Nah an der Stadt, doch ruhig und mit tollem Meerblick von der Terrasse außen.

Pros: Die Lage war fantastisch, die Einrichtung perfekt, wir konnten täglich auf der herrlichen Terrasse frühstücken mit Blick auf Meer und Hafen, umgeben von einem tollen Garten. Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich freundlich.

Cons: Alles schön! Wir waren meist draußen unterwegs.

Perfecte koppelbestemming

Pros: Een prachtige locatie voor een ruim appartement met fantastisch uitzicht op een gedeeld zwembad, de zee, en het stadje Funchal. Je deelt het zwembad/complex met 3 a 4 andere appartementen. De familie van het complex (met hondje) loopt ook regelmatig rond. Er wordt daarbij goed met privacy rekening gehouden, wij hebben eigenlijk geen enkele keer het zwembad moeten delen. Het appartement zelf is van de meeste faciliteiten voorzien. Zelf koken, koelkast met kleine diepvries, prima badkamer en een leuk eigen 'balkon' met uitzicht op strand en zwembad. Het stadje Funchal is op loopafstand, maar door hellingen wel een behoorlijke klim. Wij kozen er vaak voor om via Bolt naar het centrum te rijden (4 a 6 euro per keer). Tevens sterk aan te raden een auto te huren. Zo kun je dit prachtige eiland optimaal verkennen. Al met al een fantastisch verblijf. Als we nogmaals naar Madeira gaan komen we hier zeker terug.

Cons: - de wifi was vrij matig. Met goed 5g netwerk prima omheen te werken, als je een ruime bundel hebt. - de douche werd vrij snel koud. Als je 'normaal' doucht hebben we hier geen problemen mee ervaren. - geen airco op de kamer, waar de warmte blijft hangen. Wel een ventilator maar maakt best wat geluid.

Pros: Everything was outstanding - the location, the villa, the Infinity pool, the friendliness of the staff, communication with owners. Ideally placed a short - uphill - walk from Funchal old town/centre. The walk back up after an evening helped to burn off the holiday calories! We will be back.
