Pros: Great propery in very good location. Host was super nice and gave us some good recommendations. Excellent choise if you plan to visit in Madeira.

Pros: It was my 5th time on Madeira and this was by far the best accommodation I had. Very clean, extremely spacious, I really liked the rooftop balcony with a beautiful view towards the sea and city. Also the owners were incredibly friendly and the communication went perfect. Thank you so much - I would highly recommend :)

Exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and hospitality

Pros: An excellent stay from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully equipped, and exactly as described, with a comfortable bed and quiet surroundings for a great night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the hospitality: the host kindly welcomed us very late in the evening after a delayed arrival, which made everything effortless. Check-in was smooth, and small touches—like clear directions and local tips—made a real difference. The location is convenient for exploring, yet it still feels peaceful. Highly recommend and would gladly return.

First time visit to Madeira , friendly hosts and island !

Pros: Exceptionally clean and very well equipped property. Small details made a difference like having a supply of coffee ,dishwasher , washing tablets and salt/pepper . We even cooked as kitchen has everything one would need. Beautiful views from both terraces with a small grocer and baker near by … both, very friendly and helpful . Our teenagers liked having the upper floor to themselves . This space would also be ideal for a person working remotely .

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, in exceptionally clean and comfortable property in lovely older part of town.

Pros: The property was exceptionally clean and comfortably equipped with outdoor space and a lovely small roof terrace with views across Funchal to the sea. Small grocery store and lovely bakery a few minutes up the road and 20 minute walk to main bus stops/into town.

Cons: Nothing. For us the location was fine, a few streets back from the lower old town which did mean a steep walk home most days but if you are mobile, it’s not a problem.

Pros: Great service from the owners, waiting late at night on our arrival, and a good spot on walking distance from the centre. And we all agreed, these showers felt great, for sure after a good hike.

Pros: A compact and cozy house with a stylish and functional design, where we felt very comfortable—just like home. I have to mention the especially comfortable beds. We didn’t miss anything. We appreciated the high-quality internet, air conditioning, and having three toilets. A big thank you to Carla, who was extremely helpful, communicative, and took great care of us. She always provided good advice and proactively kept us informed. Another advantage is the possibility to park a medium-sized car directly in the yard. 3 people / 7 nights. Thank you, and we will definitely come back!

We loved our holiday in Madeira at Casa do Loreiro and would love to stay there again.

Pros: We booked Casa do Loureiro just over a week before our stay and therefore the choice of accommodation was more limited but we couldn’t have made a better choice. Clara and her father were both very welcoming allowing us to check in early and leave later on the day of our flight. The bedrooms, kitchen and lounge were all very good and the whole house was spotless.

Cons: There is a steep hill up to the house but there is a regular bus service and cheap taxis if you prefer.

Home away from home

Pros: The house has been recently remodeled, is still very pristine. Everything is planned so carefully and thoughtfully that it feels like a proper home.! We didn’t just use the house for storage and as a place to steep, but truly enjoyed just hanging out there, cooking our meals and stretching on the yoga mats up on the terrace.

Cons: The neighborhood dogs were sometimes very loud at night

The best apartment we’ve ever been to

Pros: Apartament is modern, very spacious. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets and 2 showers. It was super clean, fully equipped. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, iron, coffee maker, all the tableware and cutlery. Apartment has a terrace with the view on the ocean. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Apartment has a private parking. Near the apartment is a grocery store where you can buy everything you need and a great bakery where they serve breakfast. Roberto is very helpful, we had a great contact, he answered on all our questions. I honestly recommend this place!! It’s 10 to 10 😊😊
