Funchal Charming Villa

Excellent Funchal stay.

Pros: Awesome location. Walking distance to waterfront and many restaurants. Lovely pool and back yard. Beautiful rooms. Really well stocked kitchen.

Cons: Road is a little noisy - but what do you do - it’s in a city! Did not interfere with sleeping

Amazing, clean, fun!

Pros: This is a beautiful property in the heart of Funchal, near lots of shops and a bakery. The rooms are incredible all with air con, the swimming pool is fantastic and it also has a BBQ, overall this property was great for a group of 7! Would 100% recommend it

Pros: For a group of six people, the villa had more than enough space. The bedrooms had comfortable beds, large wardrobes, and private bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we used the barbecue area and the pool. We arranged a transfer to the villa and rented cars through the host. It’s possible to walk to the center of Funchal.

Good facilities in central location.

Pros: Central location within short down hill walk of the centre of Funchal but quick to get out of Funchal for day trips. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Owner accommodated late checkout for evening flight.

Cons: A little traffic noise but this is to be expected from the central location.

Amazing birthday weekend

Pros: The villa is very easy to find, close to the main road. The property is spacious, with each bedroom with its bathroom. The pool area and barbecue area are a plus+ Great parking area, would fit 3/4 cars easily. We loved it and will be back for sure.

Cons: There wasn't any point we didn't like it. Just a piece of advice, take some mosquito sprays are there some in the evenings or make sure your windows are closed. A neighbour's house has a dog that barks sometimes in the mornings but that didn't stop us from having the best time ever.

Relaxing break

Pros: The size of the property with every room having its own bathroom.

Cons: The hill getting back to villa from the sea. Easily solved by using the many taxis in the area.

Perfect for a group visit to Madeira

Pros: The setup of the villa was great for 7 people, especially as we had a big lounge area, full kitchen and our own ensuite in each room. The pool was perfect for cooling down after long days of walking and hiking. We were a short walk to a great cafe, a few different supermarkets, and lots of restaurants and car hire places. We walked into central Funchal a few times - it took us 25-30 minutes. It is steep to walk back uphill, however there are lots of buses/taxis running in the area, if you need them! It was also good to have a washing machine to use, with washing pods provided.

Cons: It would be handy to have some oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen for cooking.

The villa is modern, comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities, great host. Highly recommend!

Pros: The villa is modern and clean, as on the photos. It has all the facilities that is required for comfortable living. The host is very kind, gave us all the information we needed before taking over the villa.

Cons: There was way too much chlorine in the pool.

Lovely stay in Funchal!

Pros: Fantastic villa in Funchal! Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is definitely a plus. The house has everything that it is needed, we could prepare our own meals at home. There's also towels for the swimming pool which is a plus to have. Also umbrellas which can be useful as weather is unpredictable in Madeira. The house is well located, there's place to park cars. I highly recommend :)
