Pros: Perfect view and location in a quiet part of town. Well equipped kitchen, many appliances that made our stay more convenient. Lots of space for us 4 made our stay very comfortable. Coffee machine with spare filter bags was useful. Plenty of storage in bedrooms and kitchen made it easy to adopt to our needs. Easy key safe to obtain and leave keys. Great view from the top on all Funchal and Atlantic Ocean perfect for spotting ships with binoculars. Great balcony on the 1st foor and terrace on ground floor for outdoor sitting, relaxing and enjoying view. Very friendly owners who even brought some extra balcony furniture half way our stay even we didn't ask for it. 🌝👍

Cons: Nothing major at all. Drains in one of 3 bathrooms are a little bit smelly but 2 others where perfect so no big issue. Electric oven has got an intermittent fault causing a power cuts randomly when in use, easy to reset by switching main RCD switch on, but resets wifi etc. Owners aware and planning to fix it so should not be a future issue. As always keep your worktops clean to avoid smallest ever ants to appear next day. Once all food stored in sealed boxes/bags and worktops kept clean no ants at all.

Pros: Duży, urządzony tradycyjnie dom z cudownym widokiem na całe miasto.

Cons: 1. Myślę że należałoby poprawić czy zmienić oświetlenie wnętrz. W salonie panuje półmrok zarówno w dzień jak i wieczorem przy zapalonym świetle. W kuchni również jest z oświetleniem kiepsko. 2. Jeśli trafisz tam zimą to pamiętaj, że nie ma w domu systemu ogrzewania. 3. Lokalizacja domu jest oczywiście super, ale związana jest z tym dodatkowa uciążliwość czyli dojazd. Nie wiem czy można go nazwać trudnym ale z pewnością nie jest łatwy (duże nachylenie dróg) i w deszczowe dni mieliśmy z tym problemy.

Pros: Der Check-in war problemlos mit Schlüsselübergabe via Zahlencode. Die Lage ist optimal als Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungsreisen zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel. Die Fahrzeit war stets max. 1h, in den Osten deutlich kürzer. Auto ist ein Muss, da die Lage irgendwo zw. 800 und 1200m mit sehr steilem Anfahrtsweg gelegen ist. Das ist auch für erfahrene Autofahrer gewöhnungsbedürftig. Parken ist am Haus möglich. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Wir waren erst besorgt, dass es uns ohne Klimaanlage zu heiß wird, das Haus ließ sich jedoch mit Fensterläden überall tagsüber gut abdunkeln, so dass es erstaunlich kühl blieb. Durch die Höhe war es auch stets 2-3 Grad kühler als in Funchal selbst, was im August sehr angenehm war. Das Haus ist groß, geräumig und bot für unsere Familie zu viert mehr als genug Platz. Abends war es auch vergleichsweise ruhig, da die Hauptstraßen bei Funchal auch weit genug weg sind. Schlafen mit offenen Fenster klappt.
