Pros: We had a wonderful stay as a couple. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was perfect, quiet yet close to everything we needed. The host was friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome. Great value for money – we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect base for exploring & recharging
Pros: Everything! Extremely cosy, awesome balcony with nice lounge feeling, perfect for breakfast outside with the sun rising over the sea. View is 10/10! Full equipped modern kitchen even with a nice espresso maker (for the stove), cute glasses and mugs! The entire apartment seems brand new, very nice style of furniture and general appearance. City/Downtown area is close enough in walking distance if you don’t wanna drive, but still far enough to have peace with no tourists. There is also a nice Levada hike just 15 minutes from the apartment so you can start straight from home. Communication with the owners is super easy and very very friendly!

Highly recommend this fabulous place.
Pros: A real find. Absolutely beautiful terrace. Very Clean. Everything perfect. Loved Ponta do Sol. Great views. Wake up to sunshine & blue skies (well most days) & coffee on the terrace. We walked down into the town each night & back up after dinner (not for the faint hearted but good exercise) Taxis are available evidently 🤣. Host Veronica superb & very helpful. Did not see anywhere else we would rather have been and we got around a bit!
Cons: We loved it all. Do check your Sat Nav/Directions as was a bit tricky to find. I wouldn’t have liked to arrive in the dark. You need a car and preferably a small one! I didn’t like that there is no where to hang your clothes. I didn’t necessarily want a wardrobe but some hooks and coat hangers would be nice to hang up dresses. No iron. Plenty of large drawers for clothes storage though.

Clean tidy flat with basics and nice view
Pros: Quiet , nice view, close to walking path, very clean
Cons: Bed was hard , no where to hang clothes and coats or dry them with 3 days of rain , parking space very tight .

Apartment with a view
Pros: Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und die Terrasse ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung ist klein, hat aber alles, was man braucht. Handtücher, Bettwäsche und Decken rochen wirklich gut, so dass es kein Problem war, sich sofort wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Es gibt ein Moskitonetz im Schlafzimmer, was ein großes Plus ist. Das Parken vor dem Haus ist gut. Es gibt einen Extra-Spot für das Apartment.
Cons: Eine große Verbesserung wäre es, über eine Lösung für Schatten auf der Terrasse nachzudenken. Ab 9 Uhr morgens kommt die Sonne über den Berg und es wird heiß und ungemütlich auf der Terrasse. So kann man dieses Kleinod den größten Teil des Tages nicht nutzen. Das ist sehr schade. Aus diesem Grund war die Wohnung für unseren Geschmack am Ende einfach überteuert ... Wir würden daher nicht nochmal wiederkommen :/ Auch in der Wohnung wird es sehr heiß. Es gibt zwar Verdunklungs-Vorhänge, diese muss man aber ab ca. 10:00 Uhr morgens schließen, um die Hitze ein wenig zu unterbinden. Es gibt auch einen Geruch in der Wohnung, der nicht verschwindet. Wenn man von einem langen Tag zurückkommt, ist das leider ein echter Wermutstropfen, denn es ist auch schwer, die Wohnung zu lüften, um den Geruch loszuwerden. Es gibt in Summe nur 3 zugängliche Steckdosen. Zwei davon nur, wenn man die Nachttischlampen rauszieht. Keine Garderobenhaken. Wäre aber im Apartment noch möglich zu installieren und mE wirklich eine Verbesserung.
