Saudade Residence - Ultra Luxury Futuristic Ocean Zen Retreat

Pros: We spent 3 nights and had a wonderful stay — it exceeded our expectations. The villa is in perfect, brand-new condition, with superb design and stunning views. Many thanks to the owners for their care and for organizing everything so well. Towels, robes, appliances, and even groceries in the fridge and wine on the shelf — everything was ready for our arrival and at our disposal. We are truly impressed.

I cannot recommend this place enough, well worth every penny and a stay I will not be forgetting.

Pros: This was the most stunning beautiful property I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail when creating this villa is unparalleled. We came here to relax for a night and it certainly did the trick after spending hours in the jacuzzi, by the fire pit in the evening, dining outside with the sound of birds and frogs nearby, and watching the sun set over the ocean. The beds are super comfy, the shower huge, both with fantastic views of the gardens, neighbouring banana fields and of course the ocean. We used some of the vegetables from the permaculture garden with our dinner, and herbs from the herb garden with our omelettes in the morning. The stocked fridge and wine rack were lovely extra touches.

Cons: Loved everything about the property. No negatives at all.

The hosts (Claudia and Pedro) were graciously welcoming, always available for queries or small requests, adding a touch of personal care without ever intruding. Their responsiveness made everything run smoothly. If you seek serenity, architectural finesse, and an unforgettable seaside escape, this villa delivers beyond expectation. Every detail felt curated—from the hand‑stitched linens and artisan tableware to the ambiance‑adjusting lighting and carefully chosen furnishings. The villa’s sophisticated balance between avant‑garde design and island authenticity created a peaceful and enriching experience.
