Pros: Loved the key code access so didn't have to worry about a key.

Perfect stay

Pros: Very clean, beds very comfortable. Parking spot in front of accomodation.

Pros: Very practical location, 5 min walk to the centre of Câmara de Lobos but also close to Funchal and the highway. The good parking spot is really a plus. Easy check in and check out. Big bathroom and useful kitchen with microwave.

Cons: For the women travelling alone, I think it is important to say that unfortunately Câmara de Lobos has several homeless/drug addicted people that we were surprised to see in the centre of such a small and cute village… and we were bothered by a old drunk man during the night also in the street of the hotel itself. Nothing too crazy and this is not the host’s fault of course, but this was a minus in terms of safety feeling.

Great place to stay in Madeira

Pros: The ammenities were great, the studio was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen (with even a small dishwasher). We also had a washing machine available on the property - which was very useful after hiking almost everyday. There are restaurants and a grocery store in a walking distance next to the property, the location is good and easy to get to most locations on the island.

Cons: Unfortunately, there was no cleaning service and after almost 1 week at the property we had to take care of the trash ourselves. It would be nice if the property could provide a minimal cleaning at 3-4 days - especially for things like the trash.

Modern apartment near city centre (Camara de Lobos)

Pros: Modern, spacious apartment (studio) with a large bathroom (shower). Kitchen with magnetron, induction furnace, espresso machine, water cooker. Practical, spacious private parking lot. Good location near village centre and Churchill Viewpoint. Big supermarket (Pingo Doce) and a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

Cons: None

Pros: Spacious. Clean. The kitchenette was well equipped. We loved the little courtyard, this was definitely a highlight. Check in and directions were super easy and clear. Parking was equally as easy with your own designated space. Perfect location to visit the town and do surrounding hikes. I wish we’d stayed longer, it was a really lovely set up.

Everything was perfect. I would gratefully stay here again at any time.

Pros: Very nice and clean and neatly furnished flat. Super cosy, spotlessly clean towels. Lovingly made bed and immaculately clean blankets and covers. Everything you need in the kitchen. Beautiful large bathroom with rain shower. Responsive host, friendly, helpful and easy to contact by phone. The arrival and entry by car into the courtyard by code worked wonderfully, as did the access to the flat. Everything was perfect. I would gratefully stay here again at any time.

Pros: Large clean spacious apartment. Well thought out. Great secure parking. Quiet and calm area. Within walking distance to the Harbour.

Nice and clean apartment in a cute village

Pros: Very clean apartmen. Comfortable beds and bathroom. An outside area with a table and two chairs. Quiet location in a cute village, located conveniently on the island.

Pros: A beautiful, simple, reasonably priced apartment with great facilities and secure, off-street parking. A fantastic base from which to explore the island. No significant issues and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cons: Only some very minor points: the double bed was two singles pushed together which was okay but not ideal, some of the neighbours (and neighbours' dogs) were occasionally audible in the early hours of the morning, and there was no information booklet to give information on the flat and what is expected from guests (e.g. what can be put in what bins, and what to do with bedding etc. on leaving), but I assume everything was fine, so not a huge problem.
