Everything you need as a digital nomad in Madeira

Pros: *Note! A bigger room was available for my stay and I upgraded, but just next door.* Out of 7 places I stayed at in Madeira, this is the only one I got zero mold reactions at - yay! (To those who don't know, this is a big problem on the island.) That alone grants full stars, but the facilities, too, are top notch and pretty much new. Got tons of work done with the proper set up and am sad to let it go. Beautiful views of Funchal and everything you need for a long stay, including private parking. Not to mention Sascha, who bent over backwards to accommodate my needs!

Pros: The location is very good, close to a bus stop, although renting a car is recommended to explore the entire island. We had a parking space right in front of the house. There was a beautiful ocean view from the window. The kitchen equipment exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and well maintained. On the ground floor of the house there is a laundry room with a washing machine and clothes dryers.

Cons: Please note that the room does not have heating (which seems to be common in Madeira), so the nights can feel a bit cool. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom, which was located on a lower floor than the bedroom — not a major issue, but something worth mentioning in the description. The bathroom also has limited ventilation, so it may take a little longer for steam to clear after showering.

Comfortable and well equipped place in quiet neighborhood.

Pros: The place is very modern, clean and comfortable located in the quiet neighborhood. Parking spot available for travelers coming with the rental car. Beautiful Ocean views from the property. The communication with the host was very easy including late night self check-in.

Pros: Fantastisk beliggenhed, lokal bus kørte lige overfor

Cons: Madrasser kunne godt være bedre, kunne mærke fjedrene i madrassen, det blev man øm af.. At man var fælles om bad og toilet.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Pros: Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Check In und Out war sehr unkompliziert und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr schnell und freundlich. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man hat einen schönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder her!
