Pros: Loved the location, view and comfort, even a filter coffee machine

Cons: Noise levels, BUT these were mentioned, so no surprise

The apartment is comfortable with fantastic views. A little bit of updating would improve it.

Pros: The location was excellent. Wonderful views and a friendly bar/cafe below. Lots of great restaurants nearby and swimming at the Barrierinha Praia below the apartment

Cons: The toilet seat needs fixing and there were not enough pillows on the bed. The spare ones in the cupboard had no pillow cases and seemed quite old.

A great 6 nights in Funchal!

Pros: Wonderful location, just on the edge of the old town. It was really comfortable, with plenty of room. The bar/cafe downstairs was very handy.

Cons: The electrical points are behind the bed so difficult to reach.

Pros: Great location right beside the ocean near the Old Town. We absolutely loved the music and the scene of the bar below! Apartment nicely painted- it looked fresh and clean. Everything was comfortable to stay, cook and relax for a week!! Checkin was easy. We've stayed in other apartments nearby- this is our favourite- great value too!!

Cons: We got a slightly ambiguous message about how to check in after hours which made us a bit nervous, but once things were clarified everything was fine and went very smoothly! I recommend highly!

Recommended if you like music and don't go to bed before 12am

Pros: Cozy, good equipped apartment with stunning sea view located in the nice historic neighborhood.

Cons: I had read in the comments that loud music could come from the bar downstairs, but I didn't expect it to be that loud. They put up several metre-high speakers. The sound vibrates the walls, so having closed windows or a bedroom facing the opposite side doesn't help. It is absolutely impossible to fall asleep here before 00:00.

Cons: It really feel that apartment is quite used. It looks good on pictures and from the outside, but once you're in, you feel that it would already deserve small renovation, especially in bathroom.

Perfect apartment in perfect location

Pros: Had everything you’d need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Funchal - the location was perfect, right in the old town surrounded by bars and restaurants, the view was amazing!! Everything was clean and comfy, and the apartment was really spacious. I would just highlight like other reviews that the music from the bar below does get really loud on weekend nights (wasn’t too loud on weeknights), this was fine for us and we enjoyed sitting at the open windows with a drink ourselves, but just in case this isn’t for everyone!

Cons: Only thing I think could’ve been improved was the lack of shower gel etc in the shower, never been to another hotel/apartment before which doesn’t offer complimentary toiletries in some form so this would’ve been a nice touch

Pros: Nice and clean apartment with sea view, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Communication was straightforward and efficient.

Pros: Great location - ca 20 minutes pleasent walk along the coast to the city centre (shops, buses, etc.). The ocean view is fabulous! The apartment is spacious, modern, clean and well equipped.

Cons: There could be noisy live music/disco party on weekends on the street just in front of the house, as there is Bar & Café (with good espresso in the morning and good beer in the evening). It gets quiet around midnight. For someone this could be advantage and for someone else disadvantage...
