Pros: Location was 10/10. Love the old town and the bar/cafe below is great. Apartment was so clean and tastefully decorated. Lovely balcony and the sound of the sea is amazing.

Excellent location. Nice apartment.

Pros: It had a lovely sea view which we enjoyed each day. The apartment had plenty of space and was cozy. The location is excellent.

Cons: The sunshade had been removed, so we weren’t able to sit outside as much as we wanted. The neighbours dog barks loudly at all times of the night and as there is no air con so windows need to be open. This idiot disturbs the entire neighbourhood. The plastic toaster had broken and needs to be replaced for safety.

Pearl of Funchal, extraordinary view

Pros: The apartman is on the top floor above Barerrinha Cafe what is one of the famous beach bar in Funchal, but the noise was normal, there wasn't disturb us. The apatment is fully equipped with everithing you need. Nothing is needed! Close there is a good bakery, shops and thousands of restaurants.

Cons: This is not a negative thing, but as we read already in the previous notes, the steirs for the above room is really bad and dangerous not just for kids, for adults too, it must to change for a kind what can usable.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt, der einen trotz der negativen Punkte gut an die schöne Zeit denken lässt.

Pros: Die Aussicht vom großen Balkon ist fantastisch! Der Blick aus Meer und zur rechten auf eine Kirche und zur linken auf schöne Häuser war wunderbar! Für Homeoffice wie Urlaub ein sehr schöner Ort. Die Lage im Altstadtviertel besonders schön mit Möglichkeit zum Baden für 5,80€ pro Person, ab 18 Uhr 2,80€ direkt vor der Tür. Außerdem wurde uns ein babybett zur Verfügung gestellt in dem schön eingerichteten Apartment!

Cons: Als wir ankamen hat es gestunken, am Abfluss war etwas nicht in Ordnung und die Mülleimer nicht ganz sauber. Am zweiten Tag wurde uns kurzfristig eine Baustelle an die Fassade gesetzt (8:30-20:30 Uhr) und dafür lediglich eine kulinarische Aufmerksamkeit vorbeigebracht, was bei der Einschränkung für den Balkon wenig war. Wir sind die Tage tagsüber nicht im Apartment gewesen. Die Bar unten ist sehr sympathisch, aber bei Livemusik - auch mal Heavy Metall - Donnerstag, Freitag, Samstag) kann man sich nicht unterhalten am Balkon, also kleine eigene Privatspaty ja, Genuss der Idylle nach einer Wanderung nein. Hinten raus ist die Lüftung der Bar so laut, dass auch das nicht entspannt schlafen lässt. Uns hat eine Spülmaschine gefehlt, aber es wäre sonst auch enger. Teilweise waren die Möbel (Balkonstühle und Kleiderschrank) kaputt.
