I definitely recommend these apartments!

Pros: Good location, nearby bus stop, supermarket, cafes, car rental. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Ocean view from the balcony :) The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The apartment has a wonderful rain shower, a toilet with a remote control and heating, it's really something! Parking is also available, which is important!

Cons: The apartments are located next to the road, which can be noisy at night. Also, there is heavy traffic in the morning. But this is typical for the whole of Funchal.
