Perfect stay in a calm neighbourhood

Pros: Very well-equipped apartment that you can feel was thought through, everything that we may have needed for a comfortable stay was there. We really felt at home. This place is perfect for those who want to stay in a quiet area further away from the noise of the city centre, also with a quick connection to the highway.

A nice apartment a little bit of a walk from Funchal

Pros: A nice spacious apartment, clean, and a comfortable living area. A nice balcony to enjoy the outdoor area. We didn't have the best weather and so catching a taxi/ Uber was a must when getting back to the apartment.

Cons: no toaster.

Nice stay in Funchal

Pros: Beautiful apartment, very well equipped! It has everything that we need. Communication with the host is very easy, and the host is very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Cons: Nothing really, the location is slightly a bit outside of the busy area but we didn't mind.

Pros: Everything was perfect, the apartment has anything you need, close to all attractions, has a parking, the owner was responsive and answered all our questions fast, would recommend 10/10

Pros: The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent, and their flexible approach made our stay very easy.

Cons: The location is on a steep hill, which is quite common in Madeira. For someone not used to the area, walking back in the evening can be a bit challenging, but otherwise it’s a lovely place to stay.

Perfect

Pros: Everything was pretty good. In this apartment u have everything u need when u are a family. Full equipped kitchen with several basics like oil salt pepper etc. Dishwasher washing machine... Perfect The terrace is so charming and the rooms are great The only drawback were the pillows which were awful so hard. We did not use them.

Pros: Well-appointed and situated within walking distance of the old town.

Well equipped, lovely apartment

Pros: The apartment is large, clean, and very well equipped - we particularly appreciated the well appointed kitchen making meal prep a breeze, the graciously offered toiletries, and the balcony basking in the afternoon sun. The location is a 15-minute walk from downtown Funchal (a steep uphill walk on return which may be challenging from those with mobility issues though there is a bus stop right in front of the building) and ideally located to reach the main highways/hiking trails and airport by car. The included parking spot is a definite plus - we had a small SUV and managed to maneuver in and out fairly easily. Communication with the hosts was great and their small attentions were lovely. We would definitely stay here again!

Cons: No mosquito nets on any of the windows (seems common in Madeira) and there were mosquitoes even in January. As the apartment has no a/c, this could be an issue on warmer days. We ended up buying a plug-in mosquito repellent.

Lovely accommodation with 20 minute steady but steep walk to the old town/tourist areas

Pros: Nice touches with Xmas decorations and welcome gift. Basic essentials all included and noticed small stock of sanitary products if required. Responsive, friendly and helpful communications with hosts before and during stay.

Cons: Our hire car was a Renault Clio and was fine but you wouldn’t want any bigger to get in and out of the garage.

Comfortable stay and nice view.

Pros: Keys were easy to collect however the gate was very tricky to open. The apartment was clean and we really liked the view. Good space in the apartment and had all we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay.

Cons: Sadly only one fan was available in the room. The flat was very humid at night and when opening the windows or doors mosquitos would come in and bite us overnight. Besides this, all okay !
