Dogs
Pros: Not a deal breaker, but Madeira has a LOT of dogs. It seams that when one of them starts barking, they all go along and go crazy! No A/C, so windows are always open. Bring ear plugs. All the rest was perfect. The terrace was very relaxing, we dined there a couple of times during our stay.

Nice location with good facilities.
Pros: Location was central and handy for town and to go out of funchal too. Flat was really good sized and had everything necessary for our stay. The outdoor space was really lovely and you could see the sea from it. Very quiet location and friendly neighbours.
Cons: Small water leakage in the bathroom but I informed the right person and it was going to be dealt with.

Pros: The welcome was amazing and the gift of cake and wine much appreciated. Based on a nice quiet suburb, very close to some very nice cafes and the centre of Funchal. The apartment has everything you could want, good wifi, TV, the beds were very comfortable and the whole apartment was spacious. Breakfast can be taken at the dining table, the kitchen table or on the patio (our choice). Place was absolutely spotless, I hope it is available the next time I am in Madeira..
Cons: The hills, however wen you realize that if you walk up the road with the the Fort Wall, and the turn right on Pont Nova and follow the road round it is only the last stretch that is steep.

Comfortable apartment with nice views.
Pros: We really enjoyed the garden! It had a mango tree, a large banana plant, a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean and a wonderful terrace to enjoy our meals.
Cons: We really had to get used to the narrow, steep street and parking our rental car. Luckily we had a private parking spot and did not have to park in the street.

Uitstekend verblijf voor een korte vakantie.
Pros: Zeer ruim met uitstekende faciliteiten, prima bedden en grote privé parkeerplaats. Bij goed weer is het prima buiten zitten in de tuin.
Cons: De accommodatie ligt op 10 à 20 minuten lopen van winkels/restaurants dat is prima heen maar terug is het een zeer stijle klim. Met de auto is het lastig rijden in de stad en overal betaald parkeren, wel zijn er blauwe zones maar dan moet je een blauwe parkeerkaart in de huurauto hebben! Het bereiken van de accommodatie vereist enige stuurmanskunst, de stijle toegangsstraat is erg smal met aan een kant geparkeerde auto’s. Omdat tegenover het appartement een nieuw huis wordt gebouwd stond er vaak een auto geparkeerd waardoor het uitrijden lastig was.

Schön gestaltete Wohnung mit umfangreicher Ausstattung im Souterrain
Pros: Umfangreiche Ausstattung, insbesondere in der Küche, riesengroße Dusche. Liegen auf der Terasse im Garten, sowie der Parplatz im Hof.
Cons: Wenig Tageslicht in den Räumen,. da Apartment im Souterrain liegt und Fenster mit Sichtschutz und Gitter ausgestattet sind.

Cons: Funchal est très raide et l'appartement et légèrement excentré du centre.. pas de soucis il y a des Uber pour vous ramener a domicile si vous êtes famille ..

Gerne wieder.
Pros: Die nett eingerichtete geräumige Wohnung mit einem schönen Garten mit Obstbäumen und Gemüse in Zentrumsnähe. Außerhalb so gut wie kein Autoverkehr. Prima Kontakt mit Fatima per WhatsApp. Weitergabe von Unterlagen mit einem Schließfach. Die An- und Abreise vom und zum Airport mit dem Taxi klappte hervorragend. Da wir wegen des Vormittagsfluges bereits mittags in der FeWo ankamen, hat Fatima eine Kofferablage nachmittags in der Wohnung während der Anwesenheit der Reinigungskräfte organisiert.
Cons: Durch nachts vereinzelt erfolgtes Hundegebell in der Nachbarschaft wurde die Nachtruhe teilweise gestört.

Suma sumárum jsme s ubytováním spokojeni, splnilo naše očekávání a rozhodně ho doporučujeme.
Pros: Dům je umístěn v dobré, klidné lokalitě, zhruba 10 minut od centra. Mezi klady musím zmínit vlastní venkovní gril s posezením, dále venkovní šňůry na prádlo pod střechou, díky čemuž nám na prádlo nenapršelo v případě dešťů. A na závěr vyzdvihnu komunikaci s hostitelkou, která byla velmi příjemná a dalo se s ní na všem v klidu domluvit.
Cons: Nic zásadního, co by se nám nelíbilo, mě nenapadá. Maximálně musím zmínit, že chybí sušička a fén na vlasy, které jsou v popisu zařízení domu. A další nevýhodou bylo poměrně vysoké množství komárů. Pokud někdo plánuje návštěvu, doporučuji něco proti tomuto hmyzu.
