Lovely spacious apartment with fabulous view.

Pros: Apartment very modern, spacious and clean. Provided with all the basics. Great views over Funchal, large balconies. Very reliable local bus service into Funchal. Local cafe Alta da Pena very handy and friendly. Pretty suburb location. 15 mins walk down to Funchal if you are happy with the steep road.

Cons: No local convenience store. Walking back up the hill by direct route was hard work, however buses were easy. Could be more generous with towels and toilet paper!!

Large and attractive apartment with fabulous views

Pros: Amazing view! Large and attractive apartment - spotlessly clean. Not far to walk from city centre.

Cons: Nothing! Quite a steep walk from the seafront but definitely worth it for the views from the balconies!

Pros: The view on the terrace was fantastic. photos are what you get. Thanx to the welcome kit we tasted great wine and loved the Bolo cake. Such a nice attention. Also: round the corner there is the Santa Luzia agency : Stones Rent a Car, where we could meet the team and drop our car. So handy! Easy to park in the street. we had an amazing stay! Thanks for everything!
