Ocean Pearl Apartment K

Spacious, clean apartment, all facilities

Pros: Big apartment, well located, we had everything we needed (we even used the washing machine)

Cons: The smell. It smelled of old furniture (some of it it was old), not ventilated. Also, there were ants in the bathtub every morning. The noise was quite loud from other apartments.

Great place to explore Madeira

Pros: Great location (just off the promenade/port), restaurants and buses. Specious and included all needed amenities. Very clean and bright. It was great to have a balcony to relax after exploring the beautiful island of Madeira. We'd love to come back soon. Highly recommend.

Cons: All good.

Pros: We had a very good stay at this apartment in Funchal. The communication with the host was excellent, and the instructions for the contactless key pick-up (with photos provided) were very clear and helpful. The location is convenient, the apartment is well equipped, and the private parking space in the underground garage was a big plus. At night it was a bit stuffy inside, since we couldn’t keep the balcony doors open due to noise from the surroundings, but there were fans available in the apartment which helped. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

Pros: It is on a Ggreat location, big and spacious and clean apartment. Excellent communication with the host.

Lovely stay in a perfect location

Pros: Wonderful location, very spacious apartment Marlene was very helpful and made the stay seamless Beautiful short walk along the water into town every night, the free parking was great

Cons: We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed everything! Only suggestion would be for some body wash in the bathroom (there was hand soap and shampoo/conditioner though)

Great stay in Madeira!

Pros: Friendly host, great location, convenient parking, amenities, additional towels, spaciousness of the apartment! It had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen. Despite it was November and the sun rays weren’t reaching the apartment directly, it was still warm inside (I was afraid it would be cold because it is all in the shade).

Cons: No major flaws really, we liked our stay and would stay here again if we’re back to Madeira. In terms of cleaniness, the apartment itself was clean but the dishes and glasses in the kitchen were cleaned poorly— I understand this is not the owner’s fault— probably previous guests weren’t cleaning them properly so I had to clean them first before using.

Comfortable spacious apartment

Pros: Spacious and comfortable apartment in a residential block by the marina. There was a washing machine which was great, especially for hiking gear, and use of beach towels was a bonus.

Cons: Very little!

Erg goed

Pros: The hostess was very nice, the appartment was big and we had a parking spot.

Cons: The view, but the hostess already told us!

Pros: Very nice Host, everything you need and good located

Great stay in Funchal

Pros: The apartment is bright, airy and spacious. It's very well equipped. There were extra towels, toilet paper and shower gel which we could use. There were also cooking items like oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar. Walking to the centre is easy and there are bus stops quite near. Marlene welcomed us and was very helpful. It was a lovely stay

Cons: There was construction going on in the vicinity and the sound of the jackhammers could be heard during weekdays but that wasn't the host's fault.
