Ocean Pearl Apartment Y

Pros: I love the sea-view and port under the windows, with large cruise ships coming and leaving every day The location is close to the city center and 5* hotel area with fancy restaurants Having underground parking was crucial for us The apartment is well furnished and has everything what we may need, even some tea/coffee/olive oil for the first day before we bought what we need. Thank you!

Cons: There is almost 24h/day noise from the port and arriving/leaving ferry, so take your earplugs and sleep with comfort and fresh air from open windows.

Vacation in Madeira

Pros: The apartment is very bright, clean and comfortable. All the facilities present. The view from both terraces is astonished, being in front of the ocean. The flat has a private parking into underground. Check in very smoothly finding the keys and remote for parking into the locker at the building entrance. All the instructions were sent via WhatsApp and we had a very good communication with Marlene who is a great owner. The building is 15 minutes by walk from old city centre, cable car to Tropical garden and Mercado de Lavradores.

Cons: The continuous noise from the harbour, mainly when the ferries are coming and proceed loading and unloading the vehicles, but this can't be controlled by Marlene for sure. If you are very sensitive person over the night you will wake up continuously and can not sleep properly. The noise can be reduced only if you close the doors from terrace.

Nice views and easy walking distance to old Funchal and the marina

Pros: Our host Marlene answered any queries very quickly. We needed extra bedding, and it came promptly. The location is great with ocean views. Up the street and you are on the main street leading into Funchal (here is also a small supermarket and nice restaurants). Down the street and down steps (quite steep) and you are on the Marina going into Funchal. Sitting on the balcony in the sun wattching the ocean is very calming. The space is spacious, well apointed and clean. We liked it a lot. This apartment is on the 4th floor but there are two elevators. Wi-fi works great and we could use our Netflix account on the TV. The washingmashine was nice. The kitchen well equipped tor to people. And there were under-sink items, washing mashine soap ect All nice to have.

Cons: There is some noice from the ferry that docks just down in the harbour in front of the apartments. It leaves every morning at 8.00 am (after boarding containers and cars) and it arrives back at the harbour at 9.00pm. There is also a little trafficnoice, but that is to be expected being just above a round-about and being in a city. The beds were quite firm.

Excellent stay at Ocean Pearl Apartment Y

Pros: The location was very good. The apartment was spacious, well presented , very well equipped and spotless. The host Marlene was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she even delivered a bottle of fizz for our anniversary.

Cons: There is construction work outside the apartment but we knew about it before hand and it didn't bother us.

Pros: Everything, the apartament was perfect with all the needed amenities. Marlene is a super host, I highly recommend this place. 🤍

Pros: It's the best place i have stayed so far, and it's my 4th time in Madeira . The apartment is amazingly clean, Marlene is very nice. The apartment has everything you need. And a very good location..🫶🏽 highly recommended 👌🏽

Cons: If you are not a morning person, it can be a little bit noisy because of the road and boat, but it is not that much. And to be frank, when you are in Madeira, you don't want to lose time sleeping until late, trust me :)

Pros: W pełni wyposażone małe mieszkanie. Na krótki jak i na dłuższy pobyt. No i parking podziemny - super sprawa - nie trzeba martwić się o parkowanie samochodu.

Pros: Świetny apartament blisko centrum Funchal (15 min spacerem) z widokiem na port i ocean. Bardzo dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania wyspy. W okolicy jest kilka fajnych restauracji. Sam apartament w pełni wyposażony, bardzo wygodne łóżko. Widać, że gospodarz wszystko przemyślał. Duży plus za miejsce parkingowe w garażu podziemnym. W stolicy wyspy parkowanie nie należy do łatwiejszych.
