Outstanding staff and unbeatable position

Pros: The place is extremely convenient for anything you might need. From shopping to Gym. The apartment was pricey but really worth it for. Beside the overall great score, what really made the difference was the staff. Cristina was incredible to accommodate all our requests and needs since before arriving. We really felt very welcomed and taken care of. I could say she really went over her duty to make me and my family feel good. The Cleaning ladies were also super friendly and the apartment was spotless every time after their visit. Really recommended especially to those visiting with little ones

Cons: Everything was really great and worth

Pros: We enjoyed everything. Nice, big and clean appartment. Easy to get in touch with the landlord if we wondered about something. Quiet street. Comfortable bed. Kitchen, Washing Machine. Everything one need really. Good wifi.

Cons: Nothing to complain about.

Super spacious and comfortable apartment

Pros: Really spacious, comfortable large sofa, dining table, large bathroom etc. Washing machine and dryer. Shower good and constant hot water. Really easy remote check in with lots of info and prompt response from Cristina.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like, it is a lovely apartment with parking if required, but could be little improvements like more cutlery and cooking implements, large tumblers as only small glasses, an umbrella and replace shower head.

Pros: - Location in the very center of Funchal (very close to everything you need, including a big Pingo Doce supermarket, Mercado dos Lavradores, Rus de Santa Maria with a lot of restaurants etc) - Excellent contact with the owner, who really cares about the comfort of the stay - Spacious and clean apartment - Capsule coffee machine (capsules to be purchased on your own) - Well-equipped kitchen - Parking space (very steep driveway, so not suitable for long or low cars) - Elevator

Cons: - Windows in the bedroom and living room facing the main busy street, where vehicles constantly drove over a manhole cover – it was waking me up at night and was quite annoying - No air conditioning (the owner compensates this with two fans in the living room and bedroom) - this may be a problem during the heat - Mold in the shower

Funchal is a really nice city and this apt is ideally located for sightseeing & shopping & eating.

Pros: Location was excellent and convenient for walking around Funchal center and along the sea front. Close to many nice restaurants and the old town. Very good location for supermarkets and other types of shopping. Our Host Mauricio was excellent and very helpful and contactable if necessary. Cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable as were other facilities. Home away from home.

Cons: Traffic Noise was very loud from approx 7:30 am to 21;00 approx each weekday. it was not as intense at weekend. Apartment was bathed in sunshine from early morning until approx 16:00 each day unless there was cloud cover. There was air conditioning but unless it was left on the temperature climbed in the Apt and made it uncomfortably hot. If outer windows or balcony doors were open the traffic noise was annoying. However this would not put us off staying here again as we did get used to it and were out and about during the day.

Clean and well equipped apartment

Pros: Everything was very good, the kitchen is very well equipped and clean. The host Mauricio was very kind and helpful, provided us with very detailed instructions for a late self check-in. The location of the apartment was great, sometimes it gets a little loud because of the traffic but it wasn't a problem for us.

Cons: Maybe water had a little bit of a weird smell sometimes which wasn't that big of a deal but still worth a notice.

The perfect place for short and long stays.

Pros: Perfect location, close to the city center and the old town. A few steps from the bus station and the boulevard. Many shops nearby. Bus stops right outside the building. Very friendly and quick communication with the host. He gave us lots of valuable tips. Great amenities, blackout curtains, air conditioning. Large balcony. Super clean, additional cleaning and towel and bed linen change during the stay. Sensational. It was a dream stay!

Pros: Fabulous location, nicely modern, and very clean. Generously sized also. Great host who was an excellent prompt communicator and very accommodating.

Best location for family 2 adults and 1 kid in Funchal!
