Madeira is truly beautiful and well worth visiting, and I recommend the apartment for the warmer time of year.

Pros: The apartment is in an excellent location and is quite spacious. The owner provides clear and precise instructions.

Cons: The apartment does not have heating, and in the evening it is quite uncomfortable when you need to take a shower and go to bed in a cold bed. The owner provided us with a portable air conditioner, but the apartment does not have an outlet for the unit where the cold air could be vented, so it was not helpful.

Pros: Great location, very helpful host, large apartment which was clean with good facilities.

Cons: Bathroom does not have an extractor fan so the moisture and damp can linger and the flat needs to be aired occasionally.

A very pleasant stay in this one bedroom apartment, the host was excellent and most helpful.

Pros: The location was excellent right in the centre of the shopping area. Buses to/from the airport were a 5 minute walk away.

Cons: All was good.

Wonderful apartment in central Funchal

Pros: Spacious, bright apartment in central location. Sofa was very comfy. Helpful owner gave local recommendations for restaurants and bars and was very responsive to messages.

Pros: Location is perfect! It's close to everything, easy to take transports and go to shops and restaurants. The apartment is very cozy and spacious and clean. Very much recommended!

Pros: The location was perfect. It wasnt to far up the hill so I could fairly stumble back phissed but not be panting. There was loads of space and everything was set out in perfect order. The couch the fridge and the jaxx where in a line so I could double job and get a fresh coldy and take a slash and wind up back on the couch with no detours.

Pros: Home away from home! This apartment was located in an incredible part of town. I was literally walking distance to everything. It was just as pictured, very clean, and very private. I felt right at home in this space and was grateful for a cozy apartment that was away from the big hotels. I really enjoyed my stay here and think it’s a great way to enjoy Funchal from the comfort of a place that feels like home.
