Rooftop Apartment city center

I would choose this apartment again

Pros: The apartment was really cute, ideal for one/two people. Comfortable bed, washing machine, spacious living room 👌🏼 Pretty nice rooftop terrace with amazing view. The owner is very friendly and helpful man. Location is great, in the middle of the city centre.

Cons: The shower cabin was leaking, and the bathroom door wasn’t working properly. During hot days, it could get very warm in the apartment. There is a fan you can use, but it won’t cool down the entire apartment.

I really enjoyed the appartment

Pros: Great view! Good landlord :) takes care of your comportability

Nice place with a view to Monte

Pros: This place is located in a very center of Funchal, has many restaurants and shops around, old town is just few minutes away, but I must say the place is not noisy at night, I had a very nice sleep. The apartment itself is good for a couple of people, has a small kitchen with an oven, a kettle, a coffee machine, a microwave, so it’s good for cooking at home. A bedroom has a pretty large and comfortable bed. Also you can use washing machine located in the building. The main highlight of the place is of course a rooftop! It doesn’t have a view to the ocean, but you can see Monte which is a small town in the mountains. It’s very nice to spend evenings there. The landlord recommended many places to eat and is very kind and responsive.

Pros: Great Apartment, well equipped, lots of space, nice place to sit on the terrace, Gonçalo super friendly

Highly recommend

Pros: I would highly recommend this apartment. I got the room on the top with a terrasse and a beautiful view over the city and the mountains. The apartment was very clean, also all the kitchen tools were new and super clean. The host was very nice and always made sure everything was fine. He also gave me the possibility to store my things after checking out.

Cons: Maybe add some basics for the kitchen like oil, salt and pepper, would be nice :) Otherwise there‘s nothing bad to say

Perfect, adventurous and beautiful.

Pros: Gonçalo the host was amazing! The apartments AC broke just before our stay and so he personally took us to our upgraded apartment. Super helpful and very charismatic. Would recommend to everyone. He went above and beyond and gave many suggestions for resteraunts & bars across the island.

Cons: nothing !

Pros: Melhor do que esperava! Apartamento impecável! Atendimento excepcional! Obrigada,Sr Gonçalo! 😊

Trappen oefenen! 😅
