Pros: We stayed six nights in a family room on the third floor and another six nights in a twin room on the first floor. The apartment's location was excellent, convenient for getting around. The rooms were spacious, with two large windows facing a quiet street, letting in the morning sunlight. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was large with plenty of hot water, and the host sent someone to change the towels every two or three days. Hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo were also provided. Check-in and check-out were very convenient and reliable. The host was warm and hospitable and responded quickly. He also prepared lovely gifts for his guests, including cakes and pastries from a well-known local brand and Madeira wine. When we informed him of our flight cancellation, he generously allowed us to stay an extra night.

Pros: Very good arrival welcome. Room large and clean. Received a lovely King's Cake on Christmas Eve.

Pros: The hotel's location was excellent, in quiet area. Room was spacious, everything was pleasant.

Cons: There was bleach smell in the room, this may be unpleasant for some people.

Location, location, location 👌

Pros: Location was brilliant. Felt very safe too. Great size apartment. . Very clean. Towels changed 3 times in 7 days. Salt, pepper, some tea and coffee sachets, shower gel and hand wash provided. Has elevator. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Maderia.

Cons: No balcony but was aware of that on booking. Slight odour from pipes in bathroom on 2 of the days but wouldn't stop us staying again.

Pros: I want to thank the host for being so helpful. The studio was very clean and there was also thoughtful things that most places don't have, like salt and pepper and cooking oil.

Cons: It was a tiny bit noisy, from the street below. But it is in the centre after all and it didn't go on too late.

Fabulous stay in Funchal

Pros: Excellent central location for exploring Funchal and Madeira. The apartment and terrace is very spacious. I would recommend and definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and great value

Pros: The location is perfect for visiting the old Town, bars and restaurants, the promenade and the cable car. The host left a bottle of Madeira wine, cookies and madeira cake in the apartment as a welcome gift.
