A well-located, well-equipped apartment with great amenities and host communication

Pros: Great price-to-quality ratio. Very good communication with the host. Excellent apartment location. Nice swimming pool. Close to the beach. Plenty of very good grocery stores nearby. Good bus connections. Garage available. The apartment is well equipped — washing machine, kettle, toaster, etc.

Cons: There is construction nearby. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the apartment and are sensitive to noise, it might be an issue. For me it wasn’t a problem, but if you’re delicate, keep it in mind. That’s the only drawback I can think of — with all the advantages, it’s not a big deal.

Pleasant clean safe and easy reach to all facilities like bakery Penha de Águia and Forum shopping

Pros: The location and how easy was to park and the pool is amazing for a family. Very safe and clean.

Cons: The sofa bed and the big bed in bedroom the decor was pleasant and the backers down stairs and easy reach to forum shopping center and the natural pools of Docas Do Cavaco.

Great location, but temporarily loud neighbours.

Pros: Guests of the apartment had access to parking lot and access to pool. Apartment location is great, down the building is located bakery (very nice to have breakfast there); 10 min away big shopping mall with grocery store (if you plan to stay somewhere else outside the Funchal, good place to buy water and other stuff); few bars and restaurants near. Everything is close. In the apartment large, cimfy bed. Large balcony. Apartment clean with necessary facilitied.

Cons: Apartment needs a little repairment, table and chairs on the balcony were repared, but could be great new ones. Please ask for detailes how to get to the pool - wasn’t easy without instructions. Unfortunately, at the neighbourhood still construction is in process and during the day (approx. from 8.00 till 19.00) is very loud.

Great value and nice apartment

Pros: The apartment has great location, supermarket 5 min away. The flat is comfortable, spacious and nice. Great view from the balcony. Bed is really comfy. The parking place is an extra. I think it is great for the value.

Cons: The communication with the owner was super slow. Also we agreed on an earlier key handover in a specific time but nobody was there. He only provided one toilet roll for the entire week and refused to give more when we asked. It is not a big cost (neighther from his side i guess) just the gesture would be nice. The kitchen was dirty, all the plates, pans were greasy and dirty so we needed to wash everything. The floor was sticky too here. The other parts of the apartment was clean and okay.

Enjoyed our 3 weeks holiday in the Monumental Palace II.

Pros: The property was very spacious with a very large balcony.

Cons: There is building construction nearby and it was very noisy.

Pros: The place was very cleaned and very very big. Everything you would need for a stay especially a longer one like us (10 days). Lovely large balcony to sit and have coffee on in the early mornings (there’s a Delta Q coffee machine). Washer machine, large fridge and gas stove/oven. Plenty of storage space for luggage and clothes. The host is very kind and accommodating and met us later since our flight was delayed. We hope to stay here again next year.

Cons: It was not a problem for us because we were gone during the day doing all the activities in Madeira, but there is a bit of construction going on currently so if you plan to spend a lot of time in the apartment be aware it may be a bit noisy for some - starting at 8am ending around 7:30pm. It won’t be permanent (they’re putting in some new buildings across the road) but at the time of this review it’s ongoing.

Fantástico

Pros: Zona con todos los servicios, el apartamento está muy bien equipado y amueblado con mucho gusto, además cuenta con una terraza magnífica , y piscina en la urbanización. Sin lugar a dudas volvería a hospedarme aquí.

Tutto perfetto, isola incantevole.

Pros: Prodotti del panettiere sotto casa spettacolari. Ottima vista e molto silenzio

Cons: Nulla

Pros: A localização é muito boa e a garagem é uma mais valia. A piscina para um mergulho ao fim do dia soube muito bem depois de longas caminhadas na ilha. Tem restaurantes a volta e todo o tipo de comércio a pé. É uma boa escolha, recomendo.

Estadia muito agradável

Pros: O apartamento é muito confortável, tem o essencial para uns dias bem como para temporadas. Tem garagem o que é imprescindível na zona. Situado numa zona privilegiada, muito agradável com todos os serviços perto.
