Apartment Formosa - Infinity pool

Absolutely Fabulous!

Pros: Everything! The hosting, by Iri, was excellent! All the comprehensive information delivered to get to the apartment and enter it, with videos! The apartment was beautiful. It was in a fabulous location for us. All the facilities you could want. We definitely want to return,

Superb apartment!

Pros: We loved this fabulous compact apartment!. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weeks stay. Great location - close to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shop and supermarket. The bus stop is right outside the gate, making Funchal a few minutes away.. or alternatively a beautiful stroll. Iri provided everything to make the stay wonderful, from sightseeing tips, restaurant recommendations and shuttle service from & to the airport.

Pros: Great location, very quiet, wonderful sunset by the infinity pool. The apartment is close to the bus stop to Funhal, which took 20 mins. The host recommended great places to eat. Not far from International known Mad Market restaurant - 30 min walk or 11 minute bus journey. Promande walks into either Funchal or Camara de Lobos, 4 minute walk away if you use the side gate just off the pool area. This is a little tricky to find, but keep looking, really saves the legs. We stayed two weeks, and had all the kitchenware we needed. The apartment was cleaned twice, and sheets and towels were replaced. The areas around the apartment were kept immaculate, even the rubbish area, which smelt like flowers ! Can't say enough good things about the place. We were sorry to leave

Cons: The workout each morning as we walked to the main road. It was a moderately steep gradient. Still, the exercise was good for us.

Would highly recommend

Pros: Very clean, well maintained and stocked kitchen and laundry room. Gets the sun in the mornings on one side and evenings on the other side Good location for restaurants, supermarket and bus stop. Bolt App (like Uber) worked very well, much quicker than the buses. The owner, Iri was very helpful when I called upon late arrival. She guiding me over the phone, through the gated compound, into the apartment and garage with a dedicated parking space and lift straight to the room. The Parque Almirante Reis (underground car park) in Funchal is easy to navigate to and ideally situated. I was here over Christmas and saw seven days of sunshine, with the occasional shower at altitude. I would highly recommend his apartment.

Fantastic

Pros: Perfect place to have a comfortable vacation, apartment us well equipped , comfortable bed and good warer presdure in the shower. Location is superb with easy access to beautiful farmosa beach and main roads for exploring the rest of the island. The infinity pool in the apartment complex is fantastic and never too busy. The view from it is breathtaking. Having a parking spot is a great bonus. Communication with the host Iri was easy, very clear, and pleasant.

Cons: Just a recommendation that maybe in the hotter months, the aircon would be a good addition to comfort - but it was not a problem for us in November

Gorgeous apartment in Madeira

Pros: Fabulous apartment in a central location, short bus ride into Funchal or the nearby town of Camera de Lobos. Gorgeous infinity pool with a view of the mountains. Lovely host who was contactable throughout for recommendations.

Pros: Really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and the location was great with the beach close by and public transportation right in front of the apartment. Iri is an amazing host —always responsive and helped with transfers and tours. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The apartment is superb and very well located, with everything you need just a few steps away. Iri was very welcoming and took great care of us throughout our stay, even though our flight was cancelled and we arrived in the middle of the night. We loved Madeira and can't wait to come back. And it will definitely be at the Formosa apartment!

Pros: Very nice and comfortable apartment with spectacular view to the ocean. Ideal location if you want to discover the island. Our host, Iri was very nice and helpful.

Pros: We liked the location, cleanliness, parking. It is possible to keep the car either in the underground garage or outside. The hostess is very helpful and provided a lot of information. We had everything for an excellent vacations!
