Pros: Lovely comfortable apartment with fantastic views of the sea. Beds and pillows were comfy, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, drying area. The swimming pool was good. There were usually enough sunbeds except on the weekend and the odd afternoon. There were also a few parasols, but not enough. I'm very grateful for the owner/manager for arranging to let us in a little earlier as our flight was early. A short walk to a supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants. It is a great location and only 7 or 8 minutes taxi to Funchal.

Cons: The jacuzzi was out of action and this should have been made explicit. You cannot advertise it as having one when it doesn't. It obviously has been in state of terrible disrepair for a while so it is misleading to show a photo of it from before when it worked. Ditto the gym equipment- most of it not working. Mostly just hand weights. Extremely steep, hard walk down to the sea (about 10 minutes), which put me off going down there much. Very steep incline up to road. Not suitable for those with mobility issues. No air conditioning- description says air conditioning? There were a couple of fans but they were too noisy to keep on at night and we were too hot. We had to ask for the codes to the front gate to get in - this should have been provided on arrival/ a welcome pack.

The perfect place!

Pros: We stayed here for 1 week and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment was closely situated to plenty of restaurants, shopping centres and a fantastic supermarket less than 5 mins away. We rented a car so the underground car parking space was a big plus. Location was about 10 mins drive to Funchal centre (€7 in an uber/bolt) which was great to head into the centre in the evenings for dinner/drinks. It was nice to be outside the centre but have very easy access to it. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need. It was bright, spacious, comfortable and the two balconies were such a treat overlooking spectacular views of the pool, beach and mountains. A really really comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was like a home away from home. 10/10 recommend.

Cons: Only thing to mention was the hot tub wasn’t hot but that didn’t overly bother us.

A great New Year stay in this lovely apartment.

Pros: A great location just outside the centre of Funchal. A beautiful view from the balcony and the apartment had everything we needed. Loved the fact that there was secure onsite underground parking. Easy to get a bus into the city and a supermarket very close. Local beach had nice bars and restaurants.

Cons: It was a shame the hot tub wasn't in use (but that is out of the control of the apartment owner).

Amazing view appartment

Pros: Amazing view from the terace and from one of the bed rooms. Spacious, great location, parking in garage, close ro the beach and food store. Highly recommended.

Pros: True to pics on website and beautiful view. In the main well equipped.

Cons: No air con BUT after a few requests fans were provided which helped keep us cooler at night to sleep. Bin bags needed for shorter stay .

Pros: Väga meeldiv ja mugav majutus! Vila Formosa Top View by LovelyStay oli meie jaoks väga hea majutuskoht. Korter oli puhas, mugav ja hästi hooldatud – kõik vajalik oli olemas, et end seal koduselt tunda. Vastuvõtt oli super ning personal väga sõbralik ja abivalmis, mis jättis kohe algusest peale hea mulje. Lähim rand on küll kivine, kuid väga mõnus koht jalutamiseks ja mere nautimiseks. Asukoht on samuti väga mugav – majutuse vastas üle tee on olemas kõik vajalikud väiksemad kauplused ning suurem ostukeskus jääb umbes 10–15 minuti jalutuskäigu kaugusele. Meie pere jäi majutusega väga rahule ning tulevikus plaanime kindlasti sinna tagasi minna. Soovitame julgelt ka teistele!

Pros: Sehr schönes und großes Apartment mit toller Aussicht. Super Service. Einige Einrichtungsgegenstände könnten etwas Wartung gebrauchen, aber das ist wirklich jammern auf hohem Niveau, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Pros: Fantastyczna lokalizacja, blisko plaża, supermarket, piekarnia. Bardzo wygodny apartament, wszystko co niezbędne dostępne na miejscu, nawet pralka :). Personel bardzo miły i szybko reagujący na pytania.

Vi kommer komma tillbaka till detta fantastiska boende.

Pros: Stor och rymlig lägenhet för fyra personer. Fantastisk utsikt och perfekt med tillgång till härlig stor pool. Parkeringsplats till lägenheten är suveränt för oss som hade hyrbil hela perioden vi var där.

Cons: Kunde haft några bättre kuddar till sängen.

Fantastisk utsikt

Pros: Fantastisk utsikt från balkongen. Fin pool med utsikt. Härlig strandpromenad och trevlig lägenhet

Cons: Gymmet behöver renoveras och jacuzzi var trasig och rivningsfärdig (bättre ta bort om man ändå inte renoverar). Rummet med enkelsängarna inte lika bekväma som dubbelsängen.
