A great central location in Funchal for a family stay

Pros: A great location above Plaza Madeira. Everything close by which made our days super easy. Lovely big rooms and plenty of space for us all to relax - especially on the balcony. We were aware there always no aircon and it wasn’t an issue at this time of year (October) but imagine it could be quite uncomfortable in summer. Opening the sliding doors provided a lovely fresh breeze to sleep in- otherwise it may have been quite stuffy. The washing machine and dryer were a welcome addition

Cons: The master bathroom has no glass/screen so you need to ensure everything is clear of the shower spray before you start. The pillows were weird- the smallest pillow I’ve ever slept on and not particularly comfortable and the kitchen had no water glasses/tumblers to drink from. Overall a great stay but just a few little things that were missing that would have made it 10/10

Great apartment, Great location, Great Value, Minor issues

Pros: The location was great, the apartment is huge. Having a shopping mall and a supermarket at the ground floor was very convenient. The parking was also very good at the -5 level. The view from the terrace was also very nice, we spent some nice evenings there.

Cons: The main inconvenience was the lack of air conditioning, we were lucky that it wasn't very noisy at night and we kept the doors and windows opened all the time. Other minor things were missing, like a hook in the bathroom to hang a towel, there was a box for a clothes iron but it was empty, no corkscrew in the kitchen. Another thing was that, we only had one key, for us it was ok, because there were only 3 of us, but the apartment is designed for 3 couples (6 people) and i see how that might be an issue.

Pros: Groot appartement met eigen parkeergarage. Hele fijne locatie aan rand van het centrum, boven winkels, groot terras met uitzicht, dichtbij terrassen, zee, parken, restaurants

Cons: het appartement ligt op de bovenste verdieping en heeft geen airco of ventilatoren. Het was erg warm toen we er waren en het appartement wordt dan ook warm. Het geluid van de airco's van het winkelcentrum is erg aanwezig bij open ramen ('s nachts).

Pros: Boa localização, muito confortável, o facto de ter garagem é muito útil, dono prestável

Cons: Não tem ar condicionado e precisa de alguns concertos

Emplacement parfait.

Pros: Appartement superbe très bien situé calme, centre commercial en bas de l’appartement très pratique, très jolie terrasse.

Cons: Personne à notre arrivée. Digicode fournit par téléphone et sms erroné. Nous avons fini par le trouver tout seul en essayant plein de combinaisons !!!!Appartement prévu avec 2 emplacements de parking MAIS ATTENTION une seule carte de parking donc en réalité UN SEUL EMPLACEMENT. Aucun porte serviette prévu dans les salles de bain, rien pour faire sécher….dans tout l’appartement. Équipement vaisselle très très basique, prévoyez de manger dehors.

A great location and apartment! Spacious and well located! Needs some more touches to better support comfort.

Pros: The location is great. Right in the core of the city, below having a convenient grocery store and a very short walk into town. The parking garage is easy to drive in and the roads leading to it are not the old narrow ones, so very convenient. The apartment itself is as pictured and very spacious for a group. We really enjoyed our stay. We all had plenty of space and comfy beds.

Cons: The listing states 4 bathrooms, there are 3. Our main issue however was with checkin. I didn't receive any details ahead of time. We were waiting while I was messaging the host constantly, even though our flight arrival was delayed. After checkin the host answered messages just fine. A detailed message with pictures about parking details and meeting would've greatly eased the experience. The other issue is with the doors. You need all the windows open to cool the apartment, not a problem for us. But certain gusts would slam a door. Easily solved with door stops, as we had to find heavy shoes to prop the doors open. I recommend some small touches be made by the host to greatly improve the experience for future guests.

Pros: Sehr schöne und moderne Wohnung in top Lage. Schöne Aussicht und direkt im 6. Stock über dem Shopping Center. Sehr praktisch auch mit Kind.

Pros: Veľmi dobrá lokalita, dobre vybavený apartmán s 3 spálňami, pekným výhľadom na Funchal.

Erste Wahl in Funchal

Pros: Die Unterkunft ist modern, sehr schön ausgestattet und hat einen sehr großen Balkon. Die Lage ist mitten in Funchal und daher optimal. Die Wohnung bietet einige Extras (Schlafsofa, Waschmaschine, Flatscreen).

Cons: Wie oft in den südlichen Ländern wurde hier vieles „schnell, schnell“ gemacht. Die Türrahmen sind alle nur gesteckt, statt geklebt. Manchmal kommt deshalb der Türrahmen raus, wenn man die Tür öffnet. Gleiches gilt für die Türklinken. Die hatten wir teilweise lose in der Hand. Im großen Schlafzimmer hatten wir kein warmes Wasser in der Badewanne. Der Gastgeber hat leider nur sporadisch und mit großer Verzögerung geantwortet. Das sind aber alles nur kleine Probleme, weshalb wir trotzdem eine sehr gute Bewertung abgeben und die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen würden.

Pros: El apartamento está muy bien, y con un pequeño detalle estaría espectacular. El garaje es para 2 vehículos. Piso de 135m muy bien equipado y prácticamente nuevo.. Muy bien situado, y con todo lo que necesitas al lado. En el bloque de edificios hay un centro comercial y está a menos de 10 min paseando de la zona antigua .

Cons: El apartamento no tenía aire acondicionado, y aunque normalmente en Madeira no hay temperaturas muy alta pasamos demasiado calor. Algún electrodoméstico no funcionaba,. Les recomendaría mejorar la climatización.
