The best views and comfortable beds

Pros: The place was spacious and tastefully decorated. Views from every room just amazing not to mention the rooftop view on Funchal and mountains. This place has everything you need and is just 10 min walk from zona historica and old town restaurants. The host Francisco greeted us at the apartment, showed around and gave the keys. Checkout super easy too. We really loved the place.

Very quiet place, perfect for a stay

Pros: This is our second stay at the Serrao apartment. The location is perfect, close to the port and farmers' market, and right in the old town. A very quiet place, perfect for a stay.

I would book the same appartement if I would visit the Island again, no doubt here.

Pros: The location is just perfect. Located in the old town, away from all hotels. It was also spacious enough for the 4 of us. Close by you can swim(a Paid) and there are lots of good restaurants.

Cons: The toilet could flush better. It worked but it isn’t perfect

Beautiful views over Funchal!

Pros: Francisco is a great and very helpful host. The views from apartment were splendid. You fall asleep looking at the Funchal at night. There is a terrace on the top, which is also very nice to chill out at. Apartment is quite well equipped and it is perfectly located, near all the bars and restaurants. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.

Pros: Exellent, quiet location. Great sea, town and mountain views from all rooms. Roof terrace views were Even More spectacular. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable and very clean rooms. The owner Francisco was helpfull and nice person. Highly recommended apartment.

Pros: Localização ótima, apartamento espaçoso, boa casa de banho e internet funciona bem. Fomos para o reveillon e o prédio tem um rooftop com uma vista maravilhosa de Funchal. O anfitrião nos recebeu muito bem e foi bastante simpático.

Cons: Meu maior problema foi com toalhas e papel higiênico. Haviam apenas 3 rolos de papel higiênico para 4 pessoas por 4 diárias (5 dias). Pedi mais, mas foi dito que a equipa de limpeza só voltaria no dia do check out. Acho que poderia ter sido resolvido de forma melhor. Sobre as toalhas de banho, também nos foram dadas 4, por 4 diárias, sem nenhuma de reserva. Com tempo chuvoso e sem conseguir secar, é pouco/ruim. A cozinha é bem equipada mas um microondas faz falta e poderia ser uma boa adição ao apartamento.

A must stay in Funchal.

Pros: Francisco was amazing, friendly and resourceful. The apartment is big, fully equipped and with a great view. Really good for families with 2 kids. Having a parking lot is also super useful.
