100/10, the best apartments in Funchal

Pros: Best place to stay in Madeira! Super clean, service was excellent, location is 10-15 min by taxi/bus from the city center. Supermarket right in front of the building. Many good restaurants around. And the ocean view is stunning! Definitely will come back again!

Cons: Icy cold water in the pool. There was a misleading review on Google Maps, which mentioned 3 heating pools, but it wasn't true unfortunately

A paradise

Pros: Immaculate apartment,modern,spacious, impeccable sea view from the balcony.We watched the sun set. Perfect location,lots of restaurants around,bus ride to Funchal, continente supermarkets close by.

Cons: Please kindly repair the rubber under the shower door. The lid on the kitchen bin was loose and needs to be fixed. Please get fitted sheets for the bed.The flat sheets you use are too small,they come untucked in the night. The pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable too. Please also get pint glasses for a beer,the ones you provide are small.

Great holiday accommodation; have been recommending it to all my friends.

Pros: The size, cleanliness and view from the apartment. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and the jacuzzi were an added bonus.

Cons: Bathroom toiletries were very basic.

Perfection!

Pros: The best apartment I’ve ever stayed at - it’s very spacious, clean, comfortable, with 2 bathrooms, huge balcony with pool and sea view. Everything is just like you see in pictures, even better! And restaurants and supermarkets are just 5 mins away. Plus, Beatrice is the best and the kindest host ever!!

Pros: The location is perfect, the view from the balcony is just amazing. You can walk to the nearby forum Madeira to shop, and the path to Camara De Lobo is not far away. We walked into the centre of Funchal as well. There are so many restaurants around you don’t need to drive…but we did to see the rest of the island. There is no traffic noise, just the sound of the waves on the beach (and sometimes people in the pool in the day). There is construction nearby but you don’t really hear it at all on this side of the building The property is for couples only and is perfect as such with a good en suite and spacious living area, with well equipped separate kitchen and lobby with another toilet. The infinity pool is great, and we used it every day with no problem getting loungers. The AC is very effective, and quiet, and the blackout blinds work well.

Cons: My only complaint would be that the dining area is a bit spartan, and could do with a couple of floor lamps and better pictures… but really that was our only complaint, very trivial. Also it is worth noting the parking garage has some very tight angles, especially leaving level 4 where the space is. There is a trick of reversing into the gap at the bottom of the ramp that we discovered that makes it easy though.

Pros: View and aparment were amazing. The most amazing thing was infinite pool. Loved it!

Cons: For this amount of money, room service could come more thann once in 8 days.

What you see is what you get

Pros: The apartment met all our expectations and we spent two wonderful weeks in Madeira Palace Residences. We liked the spacious living room, the well-equipped kitchen (incl. washing machine), the cozy bed and the outstanding view from the balcony. You can enjoy the sunset with pool/sea view and the first thing you hear in the morning is the sound of the sea. The parking garage was right across the floor and comfortably accessible. We spent a lot of time at the pool which was not crowded at all. The location is just outstanding. Few steps to the Forum shopping center, the promenade coast walk to Funchal or Camara de Lobos. If we come back to Madeira this residence is definitely our Number One choice!

Cons: The gatekeepers were not very attentive and we often had to wait long time outsinde the compound with our car.

Pros: Very beautiful apartment with balcony and stunning ocean view, very spacious and has all necessary equipment to feel cozy. And nice infinity pool to cool down. Everything close, big shopping center in 5 minutes by foot. Very good pedestrian roads. Nice area and not far from Funchal center. Our 1 week stay there was way to short so when we will make new plans for Madeira, we know where we would like to stay again.

Pros: Дуже комфортні апартаменти з повним набором всього, що потрібно , як для готування, так і для повсякденного побуту. Фантастичний краєвид на океан. Є відкриті басейни, зал для тренувань. Супермаркет менш ніж 100 метрів.

Cons: Невеличке зауваження)). Як би не представник зустрічаючої компанії, то пошук місця паркування і апартаментів був би досить складним. Фіолетовий колір паркінгу знаходиться на рівень нижче від в'їзду, вихід до дверей апартаментів прямо з цього рівня.
