Apartamentos Turisticos Avenue Park

We had great stay!

Pros: Apartment was spacious, kitchen fully equipped, A/C, bed was comfortable. Room was cleaned every day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect-close to the city center. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near bay. There's free underground car park in case you need it.

Cons: Didn't know there's a reception to check in which is handy.

Pros: Excellent administrator. His help is invaluable. Very responsive.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well located, roomy apartment. Close to a main road, but not noisy. Big, relatively well equipped kitchen. Both kitchen and bathroom are somewhat dated, but clean and functional. Good service, room cleaning, etc. And parking in the building included in the price.

Pros: The location was great. Near enough to Funchal centre (10 minutes walk) but very close to excellent restaurants and bars. welcoming host and helpful staff. Comfortable apartment which was cleaned every day. Aerobus stop pretty much outside so easy access to and from the airport.

Cons: WiFi in rooms was not great but we were not there for the wifi. Kitchen and Bathroom in our apartment were a bit tired.

Pros: They were very attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The location was good and convenient for getting around.

Excellent base for active guests

Pros: Great location, free underground parking (requires a bit of careful manoeuvring, but that’s completely normal in Madeira). The host was extremely kind and helpful, with flexible check-in times. We were also allowed to leave the car in the garage for a few hours after check-out, which was a big convenience. The apartment was clean, tidy, and exactly as described. Very quiet inside, with no noise from the street. Excellent value for money – 10/10.

Cons: The air conditioning in the room needs to run at a high setting to provide sufficient cooling, which can make it a bit noisy at night. The alternative is to open the window, but that is less effective and may invite rather persistent mosquitoes inside. The kitchenette, due to its small size and modest equipment, is suitable mainly for reheating meals or preparing snacks and sandwiches – it’s not really intended for extensive cooking.

Pros: I am very satisfied with my stay at Apartamentos Turisticos. The place is located on the main street that leads straight to the heart of Funchal. Walking through a beautiful park, you’re already at the Marina, and then you can stroll along the main promenade right into the charming streets of the old town :) The room was clean and spacious (I even got a bigger one than I had booked 😃), with a kitchen and bathroom. I have no complaints about my stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend it.
