Perfect to enjoy a cozy holiday

Pros: The view from the terrace was amazing. Perfect for a sunny breakfast or evening drink watching the sunset. It's in a very quiet area and the city center can be reached easily. The apartment is very comfortable for 4 people and the kitchen is very well equipped.

Cons: The beds are a bit hard and the bathroom smell during the night (because of the humidity), but those are minor inconvenience well balanced by the comfort of the rest of the apartment.

Pros: The property was in a lovely location and the owner was very helpful. It was very large and had all of the amenities you could need.

Cons: The road up to the apartment was very steep which is something to consider if you have any problems with walking. However, there is plenty of parking available at the top of the hill.

The best stay you can imagine! Just book it :)

Pros: EVERYTHING! We were the first guests, as the place was recently renovated, so this is probably the first review and I can’t say how much we enjoyed it and would like to recommend it. Contact with the host was amazing already since the time of booking. The entire family are lovely people, extremely helpful and kind. The apartment is very spacious, with two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room with dining space and beautiful huge terrace which faces beautiful sunsets everyday. It’s extremely impressive how greatly the apartment is equipped - you can really feel there like at home. The kitchen has all necessary utensils and some more such as machine to squeeze fresh juice or sandwich maker. There is even washing machine to use. It is located on a little hill, just below the cable car in Funchal, just 2km by walk to the city center. I cannot imagine a better stay in Funchal! Highly recommend it.

Pros: Tolle Unterkunft. Der Ausblick war hervorragend. Mit allen ausgestattet was man braucht. Fehlte trotzdem was dauerte es nicht lange bis es da war. Super Gastgeberin.

Pros: L'appartement est propre, agréable, et il y a beaucoup d'équipements dans la cuisine ce qui est appréciable si on veut cuisiner. Les propriétaires sont très gentils.

Cons: La lumière de la salle de bain est un peu capricieuse, il faut trouver la technique pour l'allumer. La porte fenêtre de la terasse ne ferme pas à clé donc au départ nous n'étions pas complètement rassurés mais le quartier est calme donc finalement ça ne nous a pas vraiment gêné.

Pros: Sehr sauber, äußerst gute Grundausstattung (Spül- und Waschmittel, Küchen- und Toilettenpapier etc.) Schnelle und einfache Kommunikation

Cons: Da kann der Vermieter zwar nichts für, aber der neurotische Hund im Haus gegenüber hat uns in den Wahnsinn getrieben. Stundenlanges Bellen, egal ob nachts um 4 Uhr oder abends um 22 Uhr.

Pros: We had a fantastic holiday in this spacious and beautifully renovated apartment in Madeira. Located on the second floor of a three-level house in a peaceful area of Funchal, the flat is ideal for up to four people, with two comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen that made preparing breakfast or light meals easy and convenient. The highlight was definitely the large terrace with a breathtaking sea view — perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The apartment was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and stress-free stay, including a washing machine, which was a great bonus. Our hosts were super kind, welcoming, and very responsive throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better. We absolutely loved our time here. If we visit the city again, this will definitely be our first choice. Highly recommended!

Cons: If we had to mention one small downside, it would be the air in the bathroom, which has no window, and sometimes it felt a bit stale. However, it didn’t bother us and didn’t take away from the overall comfort.
