Holiday Apartment Ocean View

Fabulous and a wonderful setting

Pros: Extremely high quality furnishings and decor. Immaculately clean with quality bedding and towels. The size and view from the terrace was outstanding. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful. We had people staying in the apt downstairs while we were there and we heard no noise whatsoever. It is a 5 minute drive to Ribeira Brava up a number of small windy roads but this is very typical in Madeira and having a garage to park in was a huge bonus. As it was December, sleeping at night was comfortable but I would imagine the hotter nights would be uncomfortable without air conditioning. One of my favourite things was the huge shower with constant hot water looking out to sea. The wifi was a bit inconsistent but always worked after the router was unplugged and replugged. We loved it here.

Cons: Nothing but a small tip is not to try and turn the car in the garage. We and the people below us both got stuck trying this as the pole in the middle makes it impossible. Reverse the car out to the top of the driveway and perform a 3 point turn there. Easy once you figure it out!

Pros: Overall, our stay was fabulous! The view you have from every room of the apartment is absolutely breathtaking and exceeded our expectations. The bathroom with the double sink and shower is to die. For and the kitchen provides everything you need and more from Tupperware, cooking essentials, cutting boards etc. to make cooking at home super easy. Did I mention the view already? There is a garage to park your car in which was a huge relief given parking is a bit wonky on Madeira. Again, that view!! If you bring your binoculars you can even spot dolphins from the patio!

Cons: A couple of lamps with yellow light in the living room would make a huge difference to help make the apartment feel a bit more homey & cozy and less sterile. A coffee table would also have been nice to put your glasses on while watching TV instead of having to hold them :) Lastly, the place has no AC so, naturally, it gets really hot. A second fan would have come a long way but we ended up leaving the patio doors open while we were out to help get some airflow during the day.

Great apartment with great views of the Atlantic.

Pros: Great location as a base to explore the island. Stunning ocean views. Great facilities. Location was very quiet and tranquil.

Cons: Nothing to prevent mosquitos entering the apartment. This wouldn’t have been an issue if there had been air conditioning. As there was no air conditioning it was necessary to leave the doors and windows open to keep the apartment cool at night.

Pros: Everything! The view was absolutely beautiful. The flat had all necessary amenities and was well equipped. The host was wonderful and the whole process was very smooth. In terms of location, it was nice to be away from busy Funchal and to feel a bit secluded with peace and quiet while still being in a strategic location where you can access both east and west side of the island easily!

The owner is the best and really helpful. We went for my birthday and they gave the best recommendation for the dinner

Pros: This place is truly beautiful. The apartment has everything you need and tbh we can’t wait to come back to this amazing island.

Pros: The place was beautiful. It truly is an Ocean View. In reality it is even better than in pictures. Apartment is very well equipped and there is everything you might need. There even is a private garage below the apartment. The apartment is easy accessible by car, no freakishly narrow and steep streets to get there. We were very happy to be there and can suggest it to everyone.

Cons: The TV is a bit old and does not support streaming from mobile devices.

Idyllic location, stunning apartment and lovely hosts

Pros: Stunning location, peaceful with the most amazing view of the ocean. Very spacious apartment, bright, comfortable, with every single thing you could possibly want to enjoy a fabulous staycation in Madeira. The hosts were extremely helpful and provided lots of recommendations regarding restaurants, hikes and experiences and activities as we planned our trip. It is very easy to explore much of the island from here. And we loved the view of the banana plantation from the kitchen window. It’s a gorgeous place.

Cons: The apartment was perfect. The roads in Madeira are steep, and driving initially was a bit tense, but we soon got used to it.

We have to come back here.

Pros: For those who want to relax in a sophisticated, well-equipped, spacious and quiet environment, this apartment is the perfect choice. The housekeeper is very kind and helpful. The parking is also very good. The terrace is fantastic to relax on.

Cons: There is none.

Wonderful stay

Pros: A really wonderful apartment with everything you need. The view from the large apartment was truly fantastic and so quiet. Really can't recommend it highly enough
