Beautiful, amazing, made you feel at home. I’ll be back ☺️🌞
Pros: The place felt really intimate, was so nice having a huge kitchen to have breakfast in and that was open 24 hours, free access to the coffee machine for as many refills as you liked was amazing 😍 and the place had so many little nooks and beautiful spots to sit in the sun / Catch some views! The fridge in the room was amazing too ☺️
Cons: Actually nothing- it’s in a quiet area but Ubers cost literally nothing / everything/the marina takes 20-30 Mins to walk to- the property has amazing views and you are in walking distance also of ponte de Piedade - walking there for sunrise was the highlight of my trip!

Stay in Lagos
Pros: We spent 2 nights and it was great. The location is good(although 2 kmaway from city center) . It has a big free parking lot in front of it. Kitchen and living room were nice. Pool looked clean too. The terrace is amazing with a great view. Host is very friendly and always helpful. They try to keep everything clean but the blanket was kinda smelly. Other than that, it was a perfect experience. Totally recommended.
Cons: The lighting in the room was too dim. And a bit smelly blanket.

If Lagos Old Town is Booked Out a Reasonable Option for Lagos
Pros: Well organized family enterprise (with a remarkable sense of marketing on several platforms). Our double room (incl.bed and mattress) was good (was one of the better ones in the house), sharing bathroom no problem and without peak hours bottleneck. Hostel with hostel atmosphere (in a positive sense), as last minute booking in crowded and pricey August high season one of the few options in Lagos we had. Spacious kitchen with fridge, coffee machines and so on: e.g. good to prepare your breakfast …next to the pool area (well maintained with some sunbeds).
Cons: Location is not really a hit (on hilltop in a modern Urbanização, around 20 min walk to Lagos Old Town or Praias), but anyhow, with abundant parking space, for your flexibility you should better have a car (if you have not: a public bus is available) When arriving at the bunker like building we would not have thought that some inside features were quite charming. But: We found the (triple digit €) price quite challenging. Well…the naming “Ocean View” - don’t let you fool - is pure marketing.

Pros: Wow, we were so happy with the hostel! The kitchen was awesome, with tons of room. Plus, there were loads of places to chill. The pool was super easy to get to and perfect for cooling off in August. Parking was free in a public lot right next door. We got a private room, and the bed was probably the comfiest one we've had in the last 4 months of travelling. The room didn't have AC, but it did have a ceiling fan. We didn't have a private bathroom, and we had to share. They were clean and worked well.

Excellent would definitly recommend
Pros: Beds very comfortable, everything very clean :) Good stocked kitchen with a coffee machine with very yummy hot chocolate. Muffins on table were a nice addition. Lovely pool, but can be slightly cold Parrot and rabbit are cool additions to the hostel atmosphere. Upstairs terrace is lovely and can see the sea :) would definitely recommend as one of the nicer hostels.
Cons: The only thing is that it is far from lagos old town. About 25 minutes walk. But we were able to get the bus for €1.20 to the old town very easily. Just have to note that the bus is usually earlier than Google maps says, and only runs about once or twice an hour.

Pros: It is a very good place if you are on a budget, there is very well equipped kitchen so you can prepare all your meals.
Cons: It is not very clean, bathrooms especially , rooms don’t have a/c so you are forced to sleep with a window open and it is very noisy. On two occasions we saw cockroaches , that is just disgusting and I really hope they didn’t crawl into our bags :(.

Excellent!
Pros: I have stayed in many hostels all over the world and this one really stuck out as a good one. Everything just worked. Great locker/ fob system, nice rooms, hot showers, crisp white towels, and the staff were very friendly. Also great free tea and coffee. I walked to the beach which took about 20 mins, and into Lagos town the same. Highly recommend!
Cons: There were some people talking loudly outside the room at 12am, but this was no fault of the hostel! Maybe just some signage out there saying people are sleeping, please keep the noise down.

Pros: This place is beautiful, especially considering its price. Great deal! The garden with the pool is very nice and the rest of the commodities too. We had a private room and it was spacious and comfortable. 200% would recommend. We also had a car, so for us the location was of really easy access to the city center.
Cons: The only thing I'd add into this section is that the ac in our room had a very bright display, so keeping it on at night made the room not dark, but that's about it.
