Perfect stay :)

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house. The location is really nice, quiet however there is a supermarket, gas station, restaurant & a bistro near by. It was a perfect location to explore the whole island. We particularly liked the designated parking spots! The kitchen was well-equipped and even had a coffee machine with free coffee! In addition to that the cleaning staff came every day & we received new towels. It was a truly nice stay & we would 100% come back and recommend.

Pros: Location is pretty good but only if you have a car. Rooms are super clean, and the check-in was very comfortable. The room was very comfy and spacious, and we got a lot of shower gel. There is a shared kitchen, but it has a variety of products to use, and usually we were alone in the kitchen. Only saw 1 other guest who was very nice. A/C is great.

Cons: The iron safe had a problem and we couldn't use the code, but had to use the manual key instead. The place has 2 floors and we got a room in the bottom floor, for which you have to go down the stairs, and it wasn't very comfortable with the luggages but not too bad honestly.

Terrific stay at the North View Guesthouse

Pros: Great facilities, nicely presented guest house, free off road parking, close to town

Pros: Very clean and modern, great facilities, staff are so kind. They respond really quickly. It is a pre check in, and room was spotless when we arrived. Comfy beds.

Cons: There was a slight mix up w the room keys at the start but incredibly easily sorted and isnt really a negative. You need to drive to be here, as there isnt much very close by.

Pros: Excellent property. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything available for a nice stay. The host genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay at their property. We accidentally/somehow booked an apartment for 2 adults but we were 2 adults and a child. The error was discovered at the end of our visit and we were quite worried about breaking booking rules. However, the host was very understanding and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay so everything was resolved without any fuss, which was greatly appreciated. On another positive side, there's a restaurant called Calamar not far from the accommodation - the best food we've had in Madeira

Pros: Comfortable bed, nice terrace with table and chairs, very well equipped kitchen (shared), refrigerator in the room, parking space,

Cons: we were in a room downstairs, but when you have a room upstairs it can be noisy because the kitchen is an open kitchen and there is no wall that seperates it. If a group of people spends time in this area you hear everything.

Clean, beautiful rooms, convenient if you are traveling by car

Pros: The room is small, but clean, newly renovated, and neat. We had a balcony in our room with a nice view. There is a large, beautiful common area, and the shared kitchen has everything necessary. Very detailed check-in instructions, and convenient parking.

Cons: It was a good thing that we got quiet neighbours, but overall the soundproofing is not the best, which makes it not very pleasant to be in the common area; it feels like you are making noise in someone else's house. Considering the shared accommodation with neighbours and the small rooms, the price could be lower.

Lovely stay

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect — right between the mountains, offering peace and beautiful views. The room was spotless, with modern decoration and everything brand new. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind — they even provided a baby crib and a baby bathtub without us having to ask. Highly recommended!

Great base for exploring the island

Pros: Fantastic place, highly recommended. The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable. Wi-Fi is available, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen and washing machine for a small fee. The TV has Smart functionality, so you can log in to your accounts. Hot water is available at all times. A well-stocked Continente store is just a 5-minute drive away and is open until 10 PM. This is a great base for exploring the island. If we ever go back to Madeira, I will definitely check the availability of this place :)

Cons: A couple of minor notes for room number 5 on the ground floor: there’s no mobile signal in the room, but it works in the common areas. There are 7 rooms and 6 parking spaces—if you don’t arrive before everyone else, you’ll need to park on the street (which isn’t a big problem, as the street is not very busy).
