Pros: Great and calm location! Sunrises are beautiful there and special local climate.

Zeza is the perfect host and the house is perfect for a ralaxing stay in Calhetta.

Pros: Everything. We only said the house 'met' rather than 'exceeded' our expectations, as we have stayed there three times before so knew what to expect! The house is very spacious, very well furnished and equipped, and very clean. The location is quiet with stunning views. Just what we like!

Cons: Nothing could have been better.

Pros: This house is really spectacular. The view from the balcony over the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking. The pool is super clean and big. Zeza is super attentive and helpful and you surely wont miss a thing. She helped us with taxi reservations, dolphin boat tour booking and any questions we had.

Pros: Spacy house, great terrace and pool and very friendly and helpful owner. We had a great week and would come back If we go to Madeira again one day

Zeza's House - Perfect House/Perfect Hosts

Pros: The accommodation was perfect for our family and our hosts could not have been more accommodating with lots of information and recommendations throughout our stay. The property had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean, spacious and well presented. The children loved the pool which was safe for them to access. The whole property looks over the sea above Calheta to the right and the mountains to the left which was a beautiful view to enjoy. We drove down to the supermarket in Calheta to get provisions for most of our stay but enjoyed a meal at the marina one evening which was lovely and got a taxi back. It is only 5 minutes by car or you can walk down in 15 minutes (You might not want to walk back up the hill). We appreciated how quiet and private it was making for a relaxing start to our multi-stop holiday.

Cons: It is to be expected in Madeira but the house is accessible by car via some steep and winding roads and you will park on a slope. Easy enough to drive but just for you to be aware of if you're not a confident driver.

A home from home in a beautiful location, with a wonderful host.

Pros: It’s stunning location and view. The house is beautiful inside and out. It was quiet, and you could hear the sound of the sea waves with the window open.

Pros: Zeza was a fantastic host. Really helpful information about local places to visit. The house is immaculate with a stunning view.

Cons: The walk down to the seashore is demanding but doable. Get a taxi for the way back up to the house!

A Delightful Stay at Zeza House!

Pros: Our recent stay at Zeza House was a highlight of our family's travels, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality of our hostess. Despite a brief spell of rainy weather, her warmth and the cozy ambiance of the house kept our spirits high. The hostess went above and beyond, providing invaluable advice on the best local dining spots and attractions, ensuring we made the most of our visit. Her availability and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. Though the chilly weather meant we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool as much, it hardly mattered. Zeza House offered us a comfortable and inviting space to relax and bond as a family. For anyone looking for a memorable stay with a touch of personal warmth and guidance on exploring the area, Zeza House is an excellent choice. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Cons: While there wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy about our stay at Zeza House, future travelers should be mindful that having a car is almost essential. The property is situated in a beautiful, serene location that, while offering stunning views and tranquility, also means steep slopes are a part of the daily experience. Walking back from the store, especially with groceries, could pose a challenge without a vehicle. Having access to a car not only makes these errands more manageable but also allows for easier exploration of the surrounding beauty and attractions at your own pace.

Pros: Everything. This is definitely the nicest accomodation we have stayed in. Stunning location and views directly facing the sun. Beautiful house throughout, very well furnished and spotlessly clean. Very quiet, which was important to us. Very friendly and helpful host - a very kind and genuine person.

Cons: Nothing. You'd have to be pretty hard-hearted to try and fault this accomodation!

Pros: Great house, we felt like at home there! Barbecue is amazing, can be used in any weather as it is right in the kitchen. Very clean pool, increadible view over the ocean from the bedroom. Zeza is a lovely and attentive host
