Casa Rosa

Pros: A lovely little private house, with a beautifull private garden and parking spot, easy to reach by car. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Shopping center is nearby, fantastic area.

Dream home in a dream island.

Pros: Dinis was a lovely host, he mad sure we had all we need and he also gave us some lovely gifts (fresh home made bread!). The accomodation was lovely: a traditional Camachan house, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and a lovely garden with spices and herbs.

Cool, traditional Madeiran house with beautiful garden.

Pros: Traditional, renovated house with soul. Very friendly, kind host. Big grocery store in walking distance. Our great respect to the host for keeping this rental unit so clean . We know how difficult it is to have this kind of accommodation tidy and spotless. We enjoyed a beautiful garden with many plants and herbs. There is a street next to the house but to our surprise it was so quiet during the night.

Cons: It would be nice to inform the gest about an extra payment of 2€ per person per day in cash for the tourist tax. It should be described on booking accommodation page or just simply added to the nightly rate. Guest not always have a cash and looking for an ATM for a few euros sounds a little bit silly.

Nice cottage

Pros: Very nice little cottage, everything you need is in the house to enjoy your stay. Good location, Funchal is also easily accessible. The owner Dinis was very nice and helpful. The house has its own parking lot, but it's a bit difficult to park the car because you have to turn into the yard from a main road. But it can be solved with a little skill, it didn't cause me much trouble.

Pros: Lovely place with the best host. Very well equipped kitchen!

Amazing place for a short stay in Madeira for a small family

Pros: Location is good for travelling around by car, close to Funchal, quiet. The garden is amazing: green and beautiful.

Cons: The house a little dark inside, Good to note that it is a bit difficult to exit parking space to the road

Pros: Very cute living like in a fairy tale. A beautiful garden full of herbs that we could use. Lots of fruit and homemade bread to welcome you.

Cons: Sleeping in the attic is a bit uncomfortable due to the reduced height. Proximity to the road is not a problem.

top

Pros: Nice cousy house with pretty oke/good interior.

Cons: Two single beds, really tough matrass (not my style)

Very charming little house

Pros: Very nice little house, close to Funchal by car (15-20 min) or any other activity on the island. It is good for 2 people, the kitchen is well equipped and the garden is really beautiful. Wood is even provided for the barbecue. The host is really nice and will give you nice tips for the things to visit on the island. He also provides a shuttle to the airport (that you'll need to pay extra), but be aware that you need to rent a car to visit the island (buses and taxis are there but it can be complicated and/or expensive to rely on them).

Cons: The house is a bit dark, but it is also part of its charm (thick stone walls with a few windows).

Pros: Beautiful location and cozy cottage with a lovely garden entrance. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The hosts were very responsive to texts and phone calls. They took urgency in ensuring our needs were met. Washing machine one site was very convenient!
