Fantastic tranquil place

Pros: The location was set in forestry and was very quiet and tranquil

Cons: The weather was 5-6 degrees cooler than Funchal!

Fantastic, very homely house.

Pros: Casa dos Castanheiros is a fantastic house. It felt as if it is the family home, with beautiful furniture, paintings an decoration.There is also a fire place with enough wood in a cupboard in the hall. Outside there were too lovely kittens that became our friends. We felt sorry to leave (although they were clearly well taken care of). The kitchen is foreseen of all amenities. Plenty of parking space in the (huge) garden. The setting is very beautiful.

Cons: There is nothing we didn't like about the property.

For those who like silence and stars on the sky!

Pros: Lovely place for people who like silence, relax and would like to be disconected to other people. Big green park with tree, plants and flowers, forest behind the house, small levada and little biger one to walk. Full equipment, we felt like in the museum. So many details, bibelots, old stuff makes this place awesome!

Cons: Everything was amazing!

Pros: This house is with special atmosphere created by location itself as well as by paintings, photos and even library inside. It is located not far from the forest zone, so the air is very fresh and pleasant to breath. There is furniture to sit outside the house. Many things are available for cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped, the washing machine works perfectly. The host is super responsive and helpful. Honestly, living there was feeling like a king :)

Pros: Great peaceful location, outside of the crowded city and yet very close to Funchal and the Airport. The house was very beautiful - it tells a story. Plenty of space inside, well equipped kitchen, warm (very good heating system), there was a working fireplace that was well prepared for light up. The furniture and design inside the house was unique - not \

Cons: Just a recommendation - it would be good to replace the microwave oven and the cooker hood as they are out of shape :) As this is a unique house, solid building, frequent ventilation during sunny days would be good.

Pros: Un jardin fabuleux, une maison avec un certain charme ancien si on aime ce genre de maison avec un vécu... Lave-vaisselle, toujours agréable de l'avoir. La connexion Internet est bien disponible dans la maison. La position, Camacha est bien placé et en altitude, il y fait plus frais qu'à Funchal, et on y accède par une voie rapide moderne avec des galeries.

Cons: Environnement un peu bruyant du à la route pas loin si on dort avec les fenêtres ouvertes, mais pas bien grave, il a fait chaud au début du séjour, mais ça ne doit pas arriver bien souvent.

Pros: Skvělá lokalita - domek se nachází v klidné lokalitě a zároveň je vše v dobré dostupnosti. Výborná komunikace s majitelkou ohledně příjezdu, předání klíčů a základních informací. Ubytování je čisté, uklizené a bez problémů. Great location - the house is located in a quiet area and at the same time everything is within easy reach. Excellent communication with the owner regarding arrival, handover of keys and basic information. The accommodation is clean, tidy and has no problems.
