Casa do Juvenal

Pros: A beautiful house in very good condition and all the necessary appliances. Two separate bedrooms, a living room and a large terrace with a scenic view to the port with large cruise ships and the whole Funchal. It is about one kilometre to the historic city centre, a bus hub and the promenade. One of the best locations you can imagine in the Funchal and the whole Madera. Caution - the entrance to the building is located at the narrow pathway called Travessa dr. Juvenal (marked with the respective signs), which connects two larger streets with parking lots and bus stations.

It was really nice and I would recommend everyone

Pros: It was a really nice house – very cozy, and my friend and I loved it. We also had a balcony with a beautiful view. The self check-in was easy, especially because the host sent us a helpful video, which made everything simple. We really liked it and would definitely come again.

Cons: The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, which meant we were sweating a bit when coming back to the house from outside. However, we brought a small fan, and taking cold showers helped us stay comfortable

Pros: Great location for people who want to live in the real Funchal, very near to the old town area and the modern centre. (Instead of living in the western part where are only the tourists.) Swimming facility Barreirinhas is very close. Very nice rooftop terrace with seaview and a whole day of sunshine. All the facilities in kitchen and bathroom that you need for a longer stay too (I stayed for 4 weeks).

Pros: Celý dům s vybavenou kuchyní dostačující k vaření. Dům čistý. Pěkný výhled na oceán=terasa super. Blízko centra. Komunikace přes WhatsApp s panem majitelem skvělá, veškeré info o ubytování poslal dostatečně předem. Za mě naprostá spokojenost, děkujeme panu majiteli a doufám, že využijeme někdy v budoucnu tohle krásné a romantické ubytování ve starém Funchalu. Za mě deset hvězd z pěti😊

Pros: Bastante bien en general, camas cómodas, limpieza, situado a 6 minutos andando de comienzo del paseo Marítimo y una de las zonas de restauración, a 12 minutos del Puerto. Sin problemas de aparcamiento en la calle.

Cons: El sofá del salón pequeño e incómodo, por poner algo.
