Casa Lanço with Spectacular View

If you love walking, come to Funchal

Pros: The property was spotlessly clean inside and out. Big thank you to the cleaner. Felt safe. It was uncluttered. Loved all the wee lizards in the garden walls who came out with the sun.

Cons: Screens so we could leave window open at night, or fans, or air con would have been better. The host was very uncommunicative taking days to answer a msg, sometimes not at all, which was very stressful in the run up as the host also deals with the payment. We ended up standing outside the property for 45 mins on arrival as the flight was early and we couldn’t contact the host. When the person who was going to meet us there at the prearranged time phoned they told us the code for the lock box. If we had been told it in the details we could have got straight in as we didn’t actually meet anyone in the end anyway. “Spectacular View” is a bit of a push as you have to be in the upstairs bathroom or on top of the garden wall to get much of a view at all.

Great place especially outdoors, could use little more kitchen equipment

Pros: The outdoors The lady with the garden is amazing Beds comfortable It’s all new You have parking which is super valuable there ! Just careful the neighbors park so badly that’s sometimes hard to get in

Cons: No storage space Not enough plates, pots, pans, no bottle opener As we had a baby would appreciate the beginning of the stairs done safer (all the way down) but that’s very baby specific

Loved Madeira and would highly recommend this property.

Pros: The property is just as described with spectacular views of the harbour and the mountains. It is located within easy walking distance to the cable car and the town centre.

Cons: We are tea drinkers so we would have appreciated a kettle but had to boil water in a saucepan instead. The dining chairs were new but needed screws tightening as mentioned by a previous guest. There were a few niggles but it would appear this is property is newly refurbished to a high standard and no doubt the smaller details will be rectified in due course.

Uma casa com espaco até perder de.vista.

Pros: Da Localização. Limpeza. Espaço cuidado. Miito ben organizado. Estacionamento privado.

Cons: Não há cuidado por parte dos outros moradores que estacionam em.frente á garagem dificultando imenso o estacionamento.

War schön, aber Madeira ist doch etwas überlaufen, wofür wir, allerdings mit gesorgt haben ;-(

Pros: Die Lage und das Haus waren sehr schön, der Nachbarshund hat sich auch immer gefreut uns zu sehen und hat auch immer ein Leckerli bekommen.

Cons: Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr dürftig, kein Salz, kein Nichts... Drei Tassen und vier Teller, also jeden Tag die Spülmaschine anschmeißen, ein wenig mehr Geschirr wäre nicht schlecht.

Pros: Emplacement 15 min du centre de Funchal. Logement propre, lits confortables. Bien équipé. L'espace extérieur très agréable. La voisine et son chien sympathiques. La présence de la machine à laver et du lave vaisselle est un plus. Nous recommandons malgré les petits défauts...

Cons: L'accueil peu agréable. Rapide, nous n'avons pas fait la visite du logement et n'a donné aucune information. La dame a juste demandé la preuve du règlement.... Les voisins qui se garent face au garage, ce qui rend l'accès TRES compliqué. Nous ne savions pas où mettre nos déchets. Nous n'avons pas eu la réponse à notre question faite par message à ce sujet. La canapé n'est pas confortable. Quelques fourmies dans les chambres et sur le plan de travail. Manque un étendoir d'intérieur qui pourrait être dans la buanderie. Pas de produits ménagers. Cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir. Juste pour permettre aux propriétaires de rendre le séjour encore plus agréable...

Alles war super und hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Pros: Wir waren über drei Wochen im Haus und haben jede Minute genossen. Der Blick vom Haus über das nächtliche Funchal und den Hafen war einfach unbeschreiblich. Die Ausstattung im Haus war für uns perfekt, wir hatten unsere Kaffeemaschine dabei. Ein scharfes Messer hat uns gefehlt. Einige Male haben wir oberhalb des Hauses geparkt und sind ein paar Meter gelaufen, aber das war kein Problem. Wir sind sehr ungern nach Hause gefahren, es hat uns so gut gefallen.

Pros: Piękny domek z ogrodem i prywatnym parkingiem. Dwie łazienki i oddzielna ubikacja w domku gospodarczym.

Cons: Wymagający dojazd do posesji i wjazd na działkę. Wąska droga z zaparkowanymi pojazdami po jednej stronie oraz duże nachylenie drogi mocno utrudnienia manewrowanie przy wjeździe na posesję.

Pros: Tudo muito cómodo, ótimas instalações e um espaço exterior impecável. Funcionarias simpáticas e prestativas. A vista de um dos quartos dá diretamente para o centro do Funchal e é super bonita.

Cons: Falta de utensílios na cozinha e de ventilação no piso superior, é muito quente.

Ein perfekter Urlaub, sehr nette Nachbarn und sehr gute Unterkunft.

Pros: Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub und die Unterkunft hielt was versprochen war. Nicht nur der Blick auf den Hafen von Funchal, insbesondere auch der Blick in den schönen Garten des Nachbarn und das umliegende Villenviertel zeichnen diese Unterbringung aus. Wenn man gut zu Fuß ist, kann man in den Hafen und an der Promenade laufen. Das Auto kann man auf dem eigenen Grundstück parken. Ein Tipp das Auto sollte für die Insel nicht so groß sein, es ist überall ein bisschen eng. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut und es war alles da. Obwohl wir einen Tag verspätet ankamen war die Schlüsselübergabe problemlos. Gut und Günstig auch das Auto von 7m Rent a car.

Cons: Lediglich 2 Liegestühle für den Garten habe ich vermisst.
