Louros House

A relaxing week of sunshine and comfort.

Pros: We had a fantastic time at Louros House, enjoying the gorgeous views over Funchal city from the terrace! Everything we needed was nearby: bus stops, market, grocery store, bakery. The sunny terrace was perfect for relaxing with fresh fruit and pastries after our daily hikes. Natalia and Joao are caring hosts, who ensured we had everything we needed. Will definitely be returning!

Cons: Honestly nothing to complain about! We loved it all.

Beautiful house in the stunning city with great views from terrace

Pros: Beautiful house in the residential area with nice view overseeing Funchal and the ocean. Nice terrace, comfy beds, it has everything what you need for longer stays. It is also well communicated with city center, but has a garage space as well. Good communication with host, clean - easy check in. I can recommend it!

Cons: It was a different house than the one advertised which was a bit more far away. It was still very much worth the price, but it made me feel a bit unsafe with tedious reservation process. First half of the reservation you pay via transfer immediately and then the rest is in cash only. You also have to provide a lot of information to host such as: flight details

Very recommended place to stay in Funchal for a week! Great host and house :)

Pros: The communication with the host was very good and they were very attentive. The house was clean and well kept, it has lot of space and it was perfect to stay there for a week. We also found the garage super useful and easy to park. The terrace was superbe with amazing views and great to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. The proximity to some local shops (supermarket, pharmacy, bakery...) and bus stops to go into town also made our lives super easy! However, given that Madeira has very steep hills don't be deceived by Maps when it says it's 25 min walk from the city center as it is a pretty difficult walk! I strongly recommend taking the bus instead if you don't want to take the car. The stop is only 2 min walk and very handy. We loved it there :)

Cons: Everything was great. Some room for improvement: I was missing a few more towels and a better bottle opener :) Also, I thought it would be a bit closer to town by walk so take this into account. Other than this it was truly a very good stay.

Pros: I had a great stay at Louros house. The apartment is very cozy and clean. It is located in a very calm area and has a great balcony with a very nice view. The supermarket, a pharmacy and a very delicious bakery is just 2 min to reach. I would recommend everyone to stay in Lourous house! (There is also a direct bus which i going to the city centre. It takes around 10 min. Persons with mobility problems should just know that there is a very steep path to reach the house and no possibility to walk the distance.

Nagyon ajánlom, szuper szállásadó, minden közel van.

Pros: Nagyon jó környék minden (buszmegálló pékség élelmiszerboltok zöldséges) 3 percere van a szállástól. A reptérről közvetlenül átszállás nélkül lehet elérni a szállást. A tengerre néző terasz nagyon sokat jelentett nekünk. Autóbérélés esetén rendelkezésre álló garázs egy szuper dolog.

Cons: Egy szárítógép szerintem nem volna rossz ötlet és lehet hogy tengerre néző terasz egy részét lefedném hogy ne ázzon. Hiányoztak a fűszerek a főzéshez.

Im grossen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt toll.

Pros: War alles vorhanden, was wir gebraucht haben. Die Aussicht ist super und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, sowie die Bushaltestelle.

Cons: Die Messer in der Küche schneiden nicht und die Bratpfanne ist auch nicht so toll zum Braten. Man sollte mal das Equipment in der Küche auswechseln. Wir hatten zwar ein Bügelbrett, aber das Bügeleisen haben wir nicht gefunden. Die Besitzer haben wir gar nicht kennengelernt.

LUOGO MAGICO

Pros: La casa è meravigliosa, con una vista assurda a tutte le ore, dotata di tutti i comfort e dotata anche di parcheggio per chi noleggia la macchina e vuole visitare tutta l'isola. Vicino alla casa ci sono supermercati e un ottimo bar/forno che si chiama Sesamo ed è veramente squisito. I proprietari, Natalia e Joao disponibilissimi e gentili, ci hanno dato alcuni consigli e ci hanno addirittura portato delle ottime banane dal loro giardino! Consigliatissima

Pros: Natalia est réactive à nos questions. Vue sur la ville, terrasse, garage, proche commerces.

Pros: Es war alles ok. Einfache Ausstattung, aber alles da was man braucht. Perfekte KOmmunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Tolle Terasse auf dem Dach nutzbar. Lage: man kann zu Fuß ins Zentrum nach Funchal gehen, das dauert \

Pros: A vista é um dos pontos altos deste alojamento, um final de tarde no terraço e sentir a energia do centro da cidade numa rua tranquila. O alojamento estava limpo e tem tudo o que é essencial para uma na Madeira. A localização também é muito boa! Perto de tudo e tem uma pastelaria e dois supermercados mesmo no cimo da rua.
