A wonderful stay with breathtaking views and excellent hospitality.
Pros: I liked the amazing ocean view, the cleanliness of the apartment, the comfortable facilities and the warm hospitality of the hosts.
Cons: Honestly, there was nothing significant that I didn’t like, everything exceeded my expectations

Pros: The apartment was very clean and well laid out , plenty of room . Everything was provided and if we needed anything , Pedro would get it for us . Overall a nice apartment to stay in. The hill up to the apartment is steep but it's a nice way to burn off those extra calories.
Cons: Some construction work next door , but it didn't bother us too much as we left the property early each day .

Very relaxing ‘home from home’, perfect stay.
Pros: Lovely, clean, modern apartment. Well equipped in a quiet location. Apartment was very comfortable. Local bus to and from Funchal or walk. The walk is steep and reviews do point that out but we were fine. Pedro and Ana are wonderful hosts and extremely helpful making you feel more like a friend. Ana was there to greet us and was warm, friendly and welcoming. Any information we needed during our stay was provided promptly, nothing was too much trouble. We are 2 sisters travelling and felt very safe and relaxed at the property. Muito obrigada Ana e Pedro.

Pros: The host was very kind and helpful, he came to pick us up from the bus station and gave us a little tour through the city. Furthermore, he gave us some recommendations for places to go to and was easy to contact when we had some questions. The apartment is located in a proper neighbourhood and within walking distance to the city centre and other facilities

Nice stay almost in the centre of Funchal
Pros: This little flat was the downstairs apartment of a small, renovated house within a local residential area at the end of a small alley close to Funchal centre. The area itself was very quiet, but you need to be prepared for uphill walking from the centre. There's also bus no 32 that comes by, if you don't want to struggle with the hill. This apartment is well-equipped and very clean. It has a very small balcony above the house entrance, with a table and two chairs, where we had our morning coffees. The bigger rooftop balcony is for the upstairs apartment. The communication with the owner went smoothly, we were allowed to bring in the luggage before check-in. As a welcome gift we were given a bottle of wine!

Pros: Het is een mooi huisje. Goed uitgerust qua voorzieningen. Vriendelijke contactpersoon
Cons: Parkeren in omgeving vonden we erg lastig (steile wegen en nauwelijks parkeerplek) en het huisje is wat donker, omdat het een beetje ingebouwd ligt.

Compleet ingericht appartement op loopafstand van centrum.
Pros: Fijne ligging op 15 minuten lopen vanaf het centrum (wel heuvel af en terug heuvel op). Appartement was compleet ingericht met vaatwasser en wasmachine, echt een pluspunt als je met handbagage reist. In de omgeving kan je gratis parkeren, het is soms wel zoeken naar een plek. Goed contact met de eigenaar en er stond een lekker welkomstgeschenk klaar.
Cons: Het is hier en daar gedateerd, zo zijn de rolgordijnen en lampen kappen wel aan vervanging toe. Matras was ook wat doorgelegen.

Fijn compleet appartement op een prima plek dicht bij het centrum
Pros: Goed contact met de eigenaar, antwoorden snel als je vragen hebt. Het huis is compleet met alles dat je nodig hebt
Cons: Het is erg vochtig in huis, gelukkig is er wel een vochtfilter aanwezig wat erg helpt.

Pros: Simpatia, e boa vontade do Pedro em ajudar. O alojamento relativamente perto do Funchal, é agradável, bem conservado, e com muito boa limpeza.
Cons: O menos agradável, são os mosquitos que não nos deixaram usufruir do espaço exterior, principalmente à noite, assim como a falta de estacionamento na proximidade.

Pros: Ett mycket charmigt boende som är finare och större än vad som syns på bilderna med en fantastisk utsikt mot havet och bergen från den lilla fristående balkongen. Det var rent, snyggt, fräscht och ombonat. Stort sovrum med skön dubbelsäng. Bäddsoffan fungerar och är skön för en person även om den är dubbel så är ena sidan väldigt hård. I början av augusti var det ca 27 grader i Funchal och hög fuktighet. Utan AC blir det varmt och man behöver öppna fönstren. Man behöver tillägga att boendet ligger brant och högt upp från centrum och att gå upp är en utmaning minst sagt:). Funchal är en supermysig stad att bo i. Ana och Pedro är supergulliga, Tack!
Cons: Ingen AC, mycket brant.
