Perfect for my first two nights

Pros: Quiet part of town, parking was easy, lovely hosts! Great Levada trail which ends / starts up behind the property too

Very lovely and cozy little house with beautiful view.

Pros: Very nice and cozy house with everything you need to feel good and calm, cook a meal and relax. Very nice hosts who were helpful, lovely and treated us with treats and fresh white bread. Location was not far away from town Machico center, countryside feeling with rooster and dogs sounds around and beautiful view from window. Nice balkony where to relax.

Cons: You definitely need a car to get there or be prepared for walking up and down hills :) Get to used for countryside sounds like dogs and roosters singing, but that is not problem.

As described, clean, tucked away, quiet

Pros: Tucked away place in the mountains, nice neighbourhood and rice terraces to walk around, supermarket a 10min walk away, simple restaurant 5min walk. Place was as described, clean, communication good, had all amenities (tea, washing machine, tv, shampoos, etc).

Cons: Spring beds didn't make the most comfortable sleep in the world but not the worst. Roosters will be singing early so keep windows closed if you're sensitive!

Superb!

Pros: Beautiful house with a great view. Everything you need for a perfect stay near Machico. Downtown is not that close if you want to walk there but Uber is cheap and works fine. The owner brought us fresh bread every morning and checked if we were OK frequently. There are loads of shampoos, conditioners etc former guests left in the bathroom. Parking is ok for a small car. Quiet neighbourhood.
