House on the Beach

Pros: Well equipped kitchen fridge freezer, oven 4 burner stove, microwave coffee machine. Comfortable bed, lots of outdoor space and a laundry room.

Cons: No direction as to how to find the property. It is not possible to get a car close to the house, luggage has to be hauled up 65 steps and then up a long steep path. Not a problem if you know where you are supposed to be going. Also was told some one would meet us at the property when I messaged to say we had arrived I was then given a key code. After checking out got a message that the owner had forgotten to ask for tourist tax so had to mail an extra 28 euros.

I recommend

Pros: One of the best location for swimming on Madeira. Machico has one of the few sandy beach on Madeira. The house has a beautiful and near view of the beach. The house is fully equipped.

Cons: There was no mosquito net in the living room. Maximum for 3 people, the couch in the living room is small.

Great place for short or long stay

Pros: Great location close to the beach with a great view. There was a parking space we used everyday without a problem for free. Prepare for some steep steps , but that is a standard in Madeira. Spacious house with well equipped kitchen and comfy bed.

Cons: No issues

Lovely peaceful stay with fab sea views.

Pros: We had a fab stay in this comfortable house right on the beach. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace to eat with fabulous sea views. Our stay was so peaceful. The parking by the beach tended to be full so we parked on the road at the top of the path. We had no problem carrying our luggage and shopping up and down though some might find this a drawback.

Location near to ocean, good view.

Pros: Location is superb, near to Ocean. Price is very good.

Cons: Need some new Irēna in property (ironer, clothes dryer, pans for frying.

Pros: Great little house with nice terrace and everything you may need for short or long stay. Very close to the beach and local shops and restaurants (highly recommend O Pescador!) Superb location to start hikes. Great value for money! We will be back :)

Cons: A house could do with a bit of refreshing. Not suitable for ppl with walking difficulties.

Although the bugs and dishes, we are really happy that we picked this house

Pros: We really love the beach that is near the house, the owner of the property was really kind and helpful, he gave us a free wine, was always in touch with us and help us many times

Cons: There were some bugs in the house and dishes weren’t completely cleaned

Lovely house at the beach!

Pros: De locatie en de privacy van het huis. Uitzicht en stilte. Rust en ruimte.

Cons: De trap/straat hier naartoe is steil en pittig.

Pros: Magnifique vue sur la plage Machico Appartement confortable bien équipé . Parking public Commerces à proximité

Cons: Appartement situé sur un flanc de colline accessible par des escaliers (50 marches) et une pente abrupte

Heel erg fijne locatie en huis. Goed ervaren

Pros: De locatie was perfect, amper een minuutje lopen naar het strand. Het huisje zelf had een heel ruim terras met 2 tafels en stoelen en 2 ligbedden. We mochten ook gebruik maken van de bbq. Hele goede ervaring gehad. Alle deuren konden apart ook op slot wat een fijn gevoel geeft.

Cons: In de keuken hing een beetje een muffe geur, maar als je de deuren open zette ging dit weer weg. De badkamer deur kon niet dicht, ik denk dat het uitzette door de warmte.
