The Village House

Pros: The appartment is spacious and kitchen well equiped. The location is close to the beach and the centre.

Cons: Location on the one way road with sone traffic, although much less traffic during the night.

Modern studio, close to beach, good for short stays

Pros: Very modern, quite spacious studio apartment. It was very clean. Great location close to supermarkets and the beach. Bed very comfy and decor was cosy.

Cons: It was quite dark with the outside shutters closed, and the inside ceiling bulbs were too bright and would make noise when the ceiling fans were on, so we made do with the bedroom lamps and kitchen light. Dehumidifier was also quite loud. We were advised not to flush toilet paper which was slightly inconvenient. Kitchen equipment could do with an update, there was a corkscrew but we found it was broken when we went to open our wine, mismatched glasses etc.

Pros: Perfect location (close to everything including the beach, shops and the bus central Station of Machico) Well equiped. Owner very reactive and helpfull.

Cons: The appartment is a bit warm.

Pros: Comfortable place, open plan and good spatial design. Nice location close to the beach and to explore the east coast. Great contact with the owner Ruben. Bear in mind the noise from the street and humidity because of the close location to the seaside.

Pros: The owner was very helpfull and kind. We needed a drying rack and he brought it in just a few minutes. Also, the place is so cute and cozy, you have everything you need in there :)

Pros: It’s been a pleasure to stay in this apartment, you feel like in a little heaven. Super comfy bed, some place to hang your clothes. Bathroom with everything you need, good pressure and clean. For me it was a perfect location close to the dive center. There is a place to get a breakfast&coffee close by, but there is everything you need in the kitchen. Indeed you can hear the cars passing by, but for it was not a problem. Owner is extremely friendly! Obrigada!

Pros: Location was fantastic. A minute walk to the beach. Parking 5 minutes away. Good kitchen facilities. The cottage was light

Cons: The bed needs looking at as every time you rolled over it sounded like it would break. The dehumidifier needed to be in constant use and is quite loud. The toilet seat needs a repair

Super cozy apartment

Pros: Rubén, the host was extremely kind and friendly. He did everything to make our stay absolutely lovely. Everything was easy and relaxed. The location is perfect, minutes walk to the beach and the nice cafes. It's not a room, it is like an apartment with independent access. It's very spacious and have a great kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. I will book again!

Pros: The host is very friendly and helpful, speaks fluent English. The apartment has everything you need. High level of cleanliness and good attention to decorative details. Everything is decorated with passion and a sense of practicality and the fast WiFi is a plus. Also, everything is within walking distance and there are good restaurants/cafes nearby.

Cons: Minus one point for the noisy cobblestone street that sometimes woke me up. Some locals tend to speed through when traffic is light.
